you are right way too much business for a company who cannot plan and execute any type of plan when dealing with ordering, manufacturing and shipping. dont be fooled. the management only knows how to look at computer screens. they dont understand the rest of it.

is more of a ego thing with these guys. they have a veneer of greatness that is about an inch thick. alot of their customers and the public (and mostly themselves) believe they are golden. they put on a good show for those who do not know them. but they are WEAK. they have a strong army of a workforce and weak generals. this is by design. they under pay their workforce, therefore they get high quality work at a low price and they use less than leaders and pay them nothing because they want the position and are weak enough to take it at a lower price to themselves. this makes for all the money staying in the 1 percent at the top. GENUIS. i hope it stays open forever so those outstanding people that choose to stay and work for them in that sauna will be able to reap some type of reward for all the commitment they have given them.

i hope that the employees that make it to retirement there realise that there is hardly nothing waiting on them.
it is a no no to discuss retirement money, etc at that place.
i know people that spent well over twenty years there, and you'd be shocked at the size of their retirement checks!
greed is running rampant at hytrol in the corporate offices.
the real hytrol died right along with mr. tom...

By the way, and the watcher evidently knows, he is right. The "management" wants to keep everyone divided and seperated by who is "in" and who is "out" within those concrete walls. This keeps their message blurred and confusing. That way no one really knows if they are lying or telling the truth. They like to let you think they "care about you as a person" that you are "family". Don't get me wrong I understand business and I understand that any company only owes me what I and they agreed to give me and no more. But that is not what Hytrol, the Jones, the Stringer, the Goodner and all the others tell you over and over. How they look out for the best interests of the employees. How they make sure the pensions are well ran. How you are paying the lowest insurance rates, etc. It is a shell game. They say one thing and actually produce another. All the while having you bake in aa storm shelter of a building that they have had 60 years to put a/c in. They are not honorable in any way. I am saddened by those left because many of them have no other real alternatives to go anywhere else now. I wished I could start my own company with those same employees. I don't care if I were building conveyors or baby beds we would be the best company because of their work ethic. You should be ashamed Hytrol leaders but I guess a whole lot of money keeps that shame in check does it not?

It's very sad how they will spend a million and a half on a new roof, but don't have plans to cool the factory where the real work is happening. It's also very sad to watch the people who are close to retirement age to go ahead and leave. Within the last 5 years there has been more people retire than there has been in the last 10 years. There are very few people their with over 30 yeas given to HYTROL. I wish them well, it's just sad to watch.

Everything you said is true. I have seem it first hand. My husband had many better paying offers from distributors but his dedication to Hytrol wouldn't allow him to accept. The families you mentioned love thinking they are fooling their hard working employees. Then "reward" them with the big Hytrol Christmas hoopla.
