Do you think Hobbs should be tried for this despicable crime when these three men go free? His DNA is proof enough for me to at least have a trial!! Hell yes! Try his ass, if convicted, fry his ass!

Yes, I think so! And while John Mark Byers points his finger now at Terry Hobbs, let us not forget that back in 1993 they were best buddies and caroused together. They were real bad guys back in their younger days and they hated their step sons.

I don't think John Mark Byers is a perpetrator. But Terry Hobbs and David Jacoby most likely are.(Isn't Jacoby dead?) How about administering a polygraph to Hobbs?(I doubt he would cooperate of course.)

You morons crack me up. They can't do anything, the wm3 pleaded guilty. The state isn't going to do anything.

I think Terry Hobbs is guilty of killing the boys. The majority of step-fathers that I have seen are abusive in one way or another to their step-children. Especially to the boys. Of course not all step-fathers are like that but seems the majority are.

John Mark Byers adopted Chris, he wasn't just his stepfather. While he wasn't a perfect man (he was a WM CI and had some legal issues), I don't see him adopting a child he hated.

I know very few stepfathers who are abusive. I actually have seen more women especially if they have children, also. I've known a couple of men are but there are a lot, a huge number of blended families where the step is great. My husband is better to my child than her dad is. Neither is abusive, but he does much more for her than her dad even tries to.

I am glad for both you and your child. As I said, I know there are good step-parent out there. However having worked in an ER for many years I have seen the results of many bad step-parents. Guess I am just not trusting any more. But I will be the first to say "Good job" to those who are good parents, either biological or step.

Do tell us, how were the three able to detain, strip, mutilate and murder three children without leaving a SINGLE hair or any other DNA on the victims or their clothing.

You are aware that the hair that was found was not on either of the "stepchildren" and was in fact found IN the bindings of the one boy who lived with his natural mother and father.

I guess D, J& J carried around lint rollers to take care of the pesky evidence..

True, but it would not likely just be from one person in your house. Only Terry Hobbs' hair was found and it was only on the laces. His mother's hair was not on him or his clothes that they have found. Jacoby's DNA was at the crime scene and they were supposedly best friends.

And they were both in the woods, together that night, by their own admission.

My question is would you also have hair samples on a tree next to where one of the bodies where layin? Really now...I agree with your statement to a limited extent.

The hair was found in the bindings on Stevie Branch, who lived with his mother and stepfather, Terry Hobbs. I'm sure it got there just from them living in the same house, but to have DNA from Hobbs AND his friend and NONE from Damien, Jessie, and Jason does make you wonder. I can't believe this case even went to trial with all the mistakes the WMPD made. They "investigated" the bloody man at the restaurant by pulling through the DRIVE THRU and talking to someone in the window. Then there was the "lost" evidence...how convenient. They interrogated Jessie for over 12 hours without an attorney or his parents being present but they only recorded part of it. Not to mention Jessie's confession had more holes in it than Swiss cheese. This whole case stunk from the word go

You people are so stupid , all of you spout off statements to which there are no facts , I know what facts are there , Damion Echols bragged about killing the kids , He knew information about the crim scene before it was released to the public, and the retarded one admited to it. So how did he know details about the crime scene before they were released to the public

i think they got the right three the first time, someone that got away with this type of thing would have commited another crime by now,but 18 years with nothing simliar that in itself says alot,we will see how long wm3 stays free, someone will gun them down or they will re commit a crime!
