Hooray!! Those chocolate bars and that case of water I bought kept the plant from closing! Now it is up to you lazy dicks that work there to do your part. Give them an honest days work for the amount they pay you! Quit taking advantage of every little loop hole to get more pay for less work. Ask your boss how you can help save the plant, volunteer to take a pay cut, etc. I like the candy, but my acne is starting to flare up.

Nestlé is shutting down. Layoffs will be starting in January of 2014. The reason is the fact that they hired a bunch of low down dirty people in the last 5 years and it's went to crap. People not taking proper precautions when handling food, letting foreign objects get packaged. Also the people who cooked the food to be tasted and tested were barely making better grades than chimps doing the same job..... Pushing the button on a microwave isn't hard. Plus the ladies cooking the test food were the size of houses, having long blonde hair on top of that is like putting nice silk curtains on a refrigerator's cardboard boxes cut out window...

Wow Dalton. This coming from a kid that barely showed up for work. You degrading the looks of women should show future employers just who you are. Hope Nicpak hires you.

No, the people that were layed off and let go were told they could never work for Nestle again, they had to sign a piece of paper saying so, that's what is really disgusting about how they do things at Nestle. If for some reason Nestle needs to hire 1000 New people in Jonesboro, the 70 who were laid off CAN NOT apply there, believe it or not, it's 100% true!

There must have been some reasoning applied to who was picked for termination. If they were 'problem' employees, why should they be allowed to come back?

Recruiters don't hire noodle sloppers, they hire management. They can get all the noodle sloppers from the AWF.

They were let go according to seniority and the position they held. Some people who had been there 5 years with perfect records were let go, but all the new hired part-time people who had only been there 3 months got to keep their jobs. Nestle is pure evil, we should all boycott their products!

Nestle is hiring for general prod, prepweighers, ingredient handlers, and epsu. Being one of the 70 that got laid off, that pisses me off!

My husband had an interview there about a week ago. They haven't called since. Should he go ahead and look elsewhere or just wait another week? I thought they would've called by now for the drug test and stuff if they were planning to hire him. Anyone know the time frame on this? Thank you

they just stack up a bunch of applications that qualify... then when they need someone they pick from that stack...it could be months before he is called.
