It wasn't rigged. Of course when someone wants someone to win and they don't they have to blame it on something. Every judge has a different opinion, so you can't flat out say anything was rigged. It was a good pageant that gave out alot of great awards!
I think Alan is a joke

If this was Alan and Leisa Oldman's pageant then YES,of coarse it was fixed. Anyone that know's them personally know they fix their pageants. They always get a school teacher from Westside to judge. Come on tell me how fair is it to have a teacher of kids judging those kids? And of coarse if anyone from Christy McNeil dance studio is in the pageant they will win. Everyone knows Alan sucks up to Christy.

and how would you know this to be a fact? I have a daughter who has competed in many of his pageants and has won. she has never danced for Christy McNeil and does not know Alan what so ever. What girl from westside won the young miss arkansas pageant, if you are talking about a westside teacher judging then what student of hers won? you want to talk about a fixed pageant talk about miss northeast arkansas this year at pocahontas!

Amen to that!! That Northeast Ark. pageant in Pocahontas was a complete joke this year!!!! I'm not sure about the younger age group because I didn't see them, but the Jr. High & High school girls was soooo far off!! The best ones didn't even place. They're all a joke!

That one was rigged however here is another for you. And Ms. O did have something to do with this one. The Miss Poinsett County contest. We did that one last year and the little girl told us before the pageant that she would win because she always does and the judges know her anyway!
NEA WAS A JOKE

Lets just say the majority of the winners were from Pocahontas at Miss NEA! we will not be back this year!

For your info Alan has juged NEA a few times. And for the lady that her daughter won you just joke lucky because no one they wanted to win was in your division.

I for one have a child that won the Miss Arkansas pageant and the NEA and I have no Idea who Alan and Leisa are and we are not from Westside, BUT I will say this for their pageants no matter how much you want to talk about them they do not fix the pageants, as for the NEA we were in the younger group and she did win but i have heard alot about the high school groups, Remember they want to keep the money there,
but just because your kids didn't win doesn't mean they are fixed if you dont like the way things are then do do them.
not true

Yeah, but when he judged them contestants from the school that hosted it didn't win the majority of every division! My daughter has competed in some of his pageants and placed in some and won others! I don't know the host so obviously they were not rigged! Nor has my daughter known any of the judges of his pageants, so why on earth do you consider his pageants rigged? because your kid didn't want or someone you don't like won? That's the pageant world, you can't win them all! Every judge has their own opinion and there is different competion at them all! My daughter got screwed over at NEA, we will not be back. Nor will alot of others. It's dissapointing that Pocahontas Cheerleaders will be benefiting off the pageant again after one of their cheerleaders crowned the other! IMAGINE THAT.
I have judged with Alan

I have judged with Alan and Leisa and I will tell you this Alan will tell the other judges who to pick. He really tries to sway you. I have heard him many times say that kid is butt ugly or she makes me sick to look at her. And countless times that kid is bug eyed, this list goes on and on. He asked me to judge one of his pageants and I turned him down because he was telling me that some pageant coach was bringing their students and he needed them to win so they would come back. This is a money business to him, he knows the money is with the pageant kids that spend the big bucks on clothes, hair and lessons. So yes he is going to do what it takes to keep his business going. Look at the Little Miss Jonesboro and Young Miss Arkansas Pageants. When they had the previous owners there was always a minimum of 100 contestants. After a couple years witt Alan the numbers shot down, it didn't take everyone long to figure him out.

I could never hear things like that come out of Alan's mouth. He is a nice decent man. Obviously if he's in the pageant industry he knows better then bad mouthing contestants. Which pageants have you judged?

I have judged several with him the Rice Festival, NEA and many others. I chose to ignore his comments. He would sit there and say oh her dress is to long, she knows what she is doing she should win, her teeth is to big, this kid is so ugly it is child abuse her mom bringing her to a pageant. Alan is very nice to your face and no he is NOT a decent man. He talks horrible about kids and their parents. He is very controlling with his wife and she jumps when he says so.
