I do not like any of the Mexican restaurants in Jonesboro. They all remind me of the old TV dinners...yuck!!!!!! It would benefit our town if we did have a really good restaurant to serve Mexican food.

They aren't good, not one of them, and every one of them is nasty. Can't believe El A is in first place, at least now. Everybody I know that ate there found roaches in the plate, got dirty glasses and forks, etc. Guess not everybody minds eating filth and nasty servers.

they all taste the same. Oh, except Taco Bell, which is NOT a Mexican restaurant.

Blue Sombrero used to be my favorite until the quality of their food decreased about 6 months ago. I now like eating at Casa Maya. The ingredients taste very fresh.

NOT ALL mexican restaurants are owned and staffed by Mexicans, sending the money you spend back to Mexico instead of keeping it here. Some of us are just trying to make a living by competing with the ones you are talking about.

people who complain about Sombrero, Chico, and Tamollys being too expensive need to ask the employees at the "authentic" places how much they are being payed per hour. that might shed some light on the cheap prices. 30-50% of the cost of full service dining is labor and taxes (for those who pay them)

El Puerto in Blytheville is the best Mexican restaurant in the area. It's the only thing that Blytheville has that's better than Jonesboro. Everything there is delicious. They've even added a lot of things to their menu, so it's not the same old menu that every Mexican restaurant has. They even have good rice and beans. They also have a lunch buffet on Sundays. It's really good and it's cheap. I think it's like $6.50. I recommend the Pollo al Crema or Arroz el Pastor. It's amazing! Oh, and they have great service, too. Please go! You'll be blown away!

I can't stand "Mexcrement" food. Just because it's crap coming out doesn't mean it has to taste like it going in. And considering the "variety" of diseases those parasitical border-hoppers carry, I'm surprised so many people risk their health gulping down that swill in restaurants staffed with them. Whenever I enter a place and see Mexican staff there, even if it's only one in the kitchen, I walk out. Better to go hungry than risk ingesting some gut-wrenching bacteria from the unwashed paws of a third-world invader.
