Vector needs to be FIRED!! Last year I only saw them a handful of times, and when I did, it was very late at night, and they drive through the neighborhood at least 2 tiles the residential speed limit. I have not seen, or heard a mosquito truck one time this whole year.

Spraying the mosquitos doesn't do a lot of good when your tank is 98% water! If the mayor would break down and put a little killing agent in the spray tank, there would be a noticeable drop in mosquitos!

I have seen them once. I went outside before going to bed at 10pm. They need to come around closer to 7-8pm. Not after bed hours when hardly anyone is out

Probably not a good idea to drive around spraying chemicals while children and adults are outside. It's toxic. So it's not really safe. I would think that's why they wait until later

I think Vector is trying, but this invasion of mosquitoes is beyond awful. I just get out my Raid and spray the dickens out of them in my garage and then spray our bedroom before we go to bed.

But last year they did while the kids and I were in the cove playing basketball. They drove in the cove and never quit spraying

I am in the city limits, not one time this year has the truck been by my house. Not ONCE, unless they came by after about 11:30 at night. The lights on their trucks always flash through my kitchen window when they used to go by last year.
Something needs to happen to get this problem under control more. And they need to start spraying all the city areas they are supposed to spray.

We once had a city council person that tried to get the farmers to treat there ground water while irrigating fields. It would have reduced Mosquitos 75% alone. But it would have cost the farmers a couple of dollars per acre to do this. This council person was ran out of Jonesboro by the farmers over this issue. It will take someone getting sick from Mosquitos before this "treatment" will finally take place.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Aquarius

There simply aren't enough hours in the day today for you to do everything that's on your list, so concentrate on the priorities. Don't feel guilty about what's been left out and start to worry about it. This isn't an easy day because you're feeling pressured and anxious, so don't expect too much from yourself. There's less energy than usual, which doesn't help.
