Would have to be an improvement over the previous owners. Everyone I know hated going there for anything. They were unfriendly and not interested in helping their customers, too bad Hoglands closed. Barton seems better already to me though.

I went there today, waited 20 minutes and no one would give me the time of day. Searcy wasn't a very far drive after all. I heard they had new owners but doesn't seam like any change.
I doubt it

Were there any salesmen there ? If you didnt see them then they were probably helping customers. From what I hear the staff there is still spread pretty thin. That should all change in a matter of weeks. They have a new GM there that is doing pretty good and implementing alot of changes that will better serve the customer base here in Jonesboro and the surrounding area. I find it hard to believe that you walked the entire store and not one person greeted you or at least acknowledged your presence. I could be wrong though...they can be pretty busy at times.

Barton Powersports is owned by Frank Barton who used to own John Deere dealerships in Marion and Marked Tree. He sold them late last year and got into the motorcycle and etv business. He also opened a store in West Memphis.

He was in the John Deere business for over 30 years and has a reputation of dealing fairly and honestly with people. All of my dealings with his business were good experiences.

JT was the worst. I'm going to check with Barton's about a battery next week. We'll see if they are any better.

The Barton family is a well-respected, highly thought of family from Memphis. They used to own Barton Freightliner dealerships and have been around forever. They should make a positive difference in the motorsports market.

Service is much better than JT. Trust me on this John and Connie will treat you right. But you may have to be patient. there are only 2 of them working parts. As business grows so will there parts department. The are expanding as we speak! Im really glad Frank Barton took over!

Service at JT was great for me and our group.

They never screwed up any bike like Searcy Suzuki did, overfilling the oil with a quart - thus huge problems for the next 2,000 miles changing spark plugs, cleaning, and changing air filters. When fronted, the service guy showed me exactly his routine, a routine that would overfill the motor with a quart, 4 quarts is over 3 litre.

JT fixed the issu.

Yeah Searcy screwed me to the tune of $600.00 for wheel bearings "they" said needed to be replace. This next set I did it myself.
