I worked their and quit because it was nasty. I will never eat at a restaurant again. Ever.

Brand new place that's nasty, losing workers, and that isn't doing much business ... sure not off to a very good start seems like. I didn't even know Bennigans chain was still around!

I am a veteran bartender. I have worked in the industry many, many years. I was shocked to walk in and see Savanna trying to pour a draft beer whn the girl has never worked in a restaurant or bar period. Come to think of it, there was only one experienced bartender there and they were too busy putting out fires to do any actual bartending.
I only go to see my friend, who is also an experienced bartender, but she was off that night.
Better get it right...it will crumble before it you know it! Use your experienced people behind the bar! They are a wealth of knowledge and who we come to see!
Savanna did wait on me and made promises she didn't deliver...20% off my appetizer because it came out w my meal but my final tab was still full price and she was exhausting. So much to the point I didn't order anything from her from behind the bar, I had watched her enough to know she can't pour anything but foam. She was even afraid to use the soda gun...

I just read that the Bennigans franchise is going bankrupt. I'm surprised they're opening new ones. I didn't know Creegans was closing.

The chain already went thru bankruptcy several years ago. Some owners were able to keep their rights as franchisees. Unlike what the media told you about Mitt Romney, not all bankruptcy ends in the death of a company.

The Cregeens closing comment was probably in reference to the chance that Bennigans, being another Irish-themed eatery/bar, would put shitty Cregeens out of its misery since the food and atmosphere is infinitely better at Bennigans and drinks are cheaper. Not to mention the fact that Bennigans actually has some beer and alcohol behind the bar to sell.

I'm sure Cregeeens will continue to thrive as an alternative to scoring your meth or weed in the alley.

I ate at Bennigans with 11 of my colleagues yesrerday morning for a policy meeting. Krystal was our waitress. She was intelligent, spirited, funny, beautiful, AND proffessional. The food was not only delicious, but came out as we ordered it. The people who had to leave first, got their food first, followed by the table's appetizer, followed by the remainder of our meals. Krystal was working with us and her tables, never leaving us wanting for anything! The other waitresses were also involved in making sure we had a pleasant dining experience, and the owner stopped in as well. The atmosphere was friendly, the food delicious, and the service was EXCEPTIONAL. Congratulations, Bennigans. Its about time Jonesboro had a GREAT restaurant downtown. You've secured a group of regulars.

Three friends and I had an awfull experience across the board, service was some of the most poorly trained I've ever encountered as someone who eats out a lot. Food was straight up out of the box chain fodder. They're very new and we were very understanding, but we're going to wait a another 6 months to go back.

Marco and Mario are there, you see fired and failed restaurant employees don't find new careers they simply apply and get hired by the next clueless chain restaurant that opens.
