? Are they even close to the same type of restaurant ? I was thinking GC was a steak house. Ryan's and Barnyard's are buffet's. Call me crazy! I'm just a dumb redneck

Only ate at the one in Branson, and it not only sucked, it was awefull. It was your basic all you can eat food bar with below par steak that gave me the shats, and shrimp that tasted like it was freezer burnt out of the package shrimp. I was highly disappointed. I will wait on Appleby's to come, they will put chilli's and the others out of business.

We had a Golden Corral years ago. It was where Fat City is currently. It didn't last very long and Front Page moved in. Golden Corral is much like Ryan's.

I don't think I ever ate at the one on Caraway, like someone said, it didn't last too long. Their commercials give the impression of top steaks and shrimp, probably looks a lot better than it is.

Agree, with jonesboro's track record I.e. barnhill, Ryan's, golden coral will only follow suit. Eat there with in 2 weeks after new. Wear's off then it the same old routine shitty workers that hate their jobs then pass on the great food to you . Wanna bet?

If your food is as good as the one in NLR, you will close down the others. I really like the GC I haven't ever had a bad experience at NLR. Come on down.

Golden Corral is one of the best places to eat in the US.
I've been to themin many places and they all are AAAAA.
Plus they have super breakfasts. I live out near the new hospital and I've been hoping they would put one out here. They will smoke every eating place in Jonesboro.
I really hope this Topix rumor comes to pass.

The ONLY GC I've ever eaten in was in NLR, and it was not good. Low quality groceries, bad service and nothing at all like their commercials, which really is not that unusual. Admittedly, we were there for a softball tournament 8 years ago, and ate there twice in one weekend, but it made an impression on me.

Maybe they have improved. Their commercials are highly suspect, though. GREAT looking food for not that much money. Only not in my experience.

The steaks on the commercials sure look good.
