Perhaps you'd care to weed the question out of the rhetoric and then I'll consider a response to any direct inquiry.
Well, you answered it by saying I was an outlaw. There's nothing in the question that would indicate such, so why the offensive reply. My question is pretty plain. Read it again, if you don't get enough out of it for a genuine answer, I'll understand.

I recall using the word, "gunslinger" but I don't recall using the word "outlaw". And ... how could I possibly know who I addressed it to? As I said, you guests all look alike to me. Bland and repetative.

<quoted text>What you call "crazy talk" is any viewpoint that differs from your own. You seem to think that as long as you and your ideals are infringing on me or my ideals, it's OK. But if my way of looking at things isn't appealing to you, you want it shut down, condemning it as the devils spawn. Now what's wrong with this picture??

I got news for you. When over half the population agrees with the President, you cannot say he is left of center.

New gun control legislation is on the list of important issues that the President has more than 60% support.

Face it,... the GOP is self-destructing by drowning in their debts to big money campaign donors. Republicans in Washington cannot even agree with the wishes of their own constituents anymore.

You are nowhere near foolish enough to believe that the people going after everyone's guns will be happy to stop until there are none. I had a state and FBI background check done along with fingerprinting to be a legal cc. The state and FBI can share that information with anyone they choose I suppose. I have no control over that. There is not a single thing more I should be required to do. There is absolutely no argument for the fact that a criminal does not come by his weapons legally. It doesn't matter what kind of background check or rules or regulations are instituted, the criminal will still secure whatever instrument they choose to utilize to commit their crime. It will only infringe on people who follow the rules and laws. People like me! I am not who anyone should be afraid of. I am not the problem. I think it's the criminals Ms Feinstein should be going after. Once that is cleaned up- then she can come talk to me.
Accepting the "where does it stop?" belief is assuming that the 2nd Amendment is repealed and decades of court challenges are exhausted. We had an assault weapons ban for a decade but citizen access to firearms actually increased with the passage of concealed weapons permits. The Supreme Court has already established that some restrictions do not infringe on 2nd Amendment rights when they upheld a ban on fully automatic guns during the 1930s. I have seen the numbers for people turned down annually from purchasing a gun because of the background check so I thinnk it can be reasonably argued that this requirement does make it more difficult for criminals or those otherwise disqualified to buy a gun. I honestly don't think an assault weapons ban will pass the House. It might be possible that legislation restricting magazine capacity to 10 rounds could pass and I could live with it. There is no proposal that I've heard of that even considers taking guns away from a citizen & I feel safe in saying that just isn't going to happen.
