I just want to say thank you for your respectful response. Scott is a good guy and that is what I am afraid of. I'm afraid he will fall right in with the free hand outs that has got us in this mess. He is a nice guy though. I still haven't got over the WM 3 being released and I never will. They were guilty without a doubt and Scott knows this also.

Scott is a friend of mine but, I will be voting for Crawford because scott's philosophy is dead wrong for the country.

Does Ellington support Obamacare? I have tried to ask him this question and all i get is the typical dodgeing of the question. Does he support all of the deadbeats that are living off of our tax dollars or will he work to correct this problem? If he would only answer these questions. I have been a friend of his for 30+ years, but I did not like the way he handled the WM3 case and I dont like the fact that he seems to be in support of all the liberal spending and Obamacare as well. So I must say that he is not the right choice here.

Again I respect your opinion, just think about it though, instead of millions of dollars and a trial that would probably result in an acquittal of the 3, he did obtain guilty pleas. Hes only one thats been able to obtain that. I like the big picture thinking of scott, again nothing against mr. crawford, very capable man just disagree with his assoc with the special intrest ag groups. Not his fault its a party issue, i'd prefer scott however would not be upset with rick again im not one to bash just to be doing it I respect them both and am a democrat this is more a party issue for me but as far as scotts decision on the wm3 I fully support that. I also believe the real wm3 are those poor 2nd graders, we have celebrities, movies, books and networks totally dedicated to the wm3 but not the real 3, not one, we owe the 3, not their family, justice. We owe those little boys the right and respect of a proper judicial process. So I fully support scott saving us from the absolute media horror and obtaining guilty pleas. Just opinion.

He and His wife apparently have "issues" with paying their Credit Cards, and Taxes too. Sounds a lot like our urrent governmental structure. I believe I will skip it.

I know Scott Ellington and Rick Crawford both. I like them both very much. But, there's one problem with Scott that means I will not be casting a vote for him. That word is "democrat". As nice a guy as he is, and no matter how much I like him, I won't vote for him. I have to vote for Rick again.
And even though I know he did the only thing he really could do in the wm3 case, he knows they're guilty. They repeatedly confessed before and after the convictions. Echols especially should never have been turned loose on society again. Just can't respect the outcome of that case. But he's still a super nice man, and I like him very much as a person.

I will NOT vote for Ellington. His background as a prosecutor is pitiful, his wife's credit card issues is HIS fault also since he is he rhusband and SHOULD be the head of the house. I think he is a BAD choice for Congress...

for all of you that thinks the wm3 is guilty, and scott knew it,than why in the hell was they let out, why is there killers out there?????? the state did not want sued, and the wm3 had to sign statements saying they wouldnt sue, the STATE SUPREME COURT is the ones who ordered a new evedintiary hearing set for dec. 5th 2011, however they came up with the rarely used alford plea where they had to plead guilty, and at the same time assume their innocenceas far as evedince there was absoulutly none of the wm3 dna found at the crime scene, so either way it dont make it right,if they were guilty, than why was they set free,or if they are innocent why did they spend 18 years for a crime they didnt commit

Ellington has the anti-American Union thugs working for him. I will vote for Crawford in the General election but I hope Clark Hall puts an end to Ellington's political career in the run-off. His supporters are juvenile and completely low-class thugs. Complaining about unemployment checks but refusing to work while people with no work or hope for employment struggle to survive.

Ellington is an irresponsible person who is claiming that his wife's $30,000 bad debts has nothing to do with him and shouldn't be talked about. This is typical behavior for politicians and especially when they're devout christians like Ellington. I mean really......does his wife live across town and is some stranger, so he's not responsible for his family's finances !
He's the same spineless person who didn't have the shred of integrity he needed to serve Justice in the WM3 case. And now he can't even own up to his own debts and accept responsibility for what he and his wife did ! We're suppose to believe he and his wife are not related ? LOL This is not attacking his wife. This is just the facts about how Ellington can't even run his own family's finances responsibly. But he wants you to trust him with your money ! Ellington's 2 tax liens aren't that big of a deal, since the government files liens if you don't pay your taxes on time or fail to pay State sales tax on time from your business.

The first money I ever sent to a politican in my 52 years of life went to Rick Crawford. Scott has one flaw, he's a democrat who will not lower spending. He has no stated postions that differ from the national Dem party. Look around the country dems are switching party (BLACK democrats)! One was a congressman who seconded Obama's nomination in 2008. Without total reputiation of Obama care Scott has very little chance.

He gets my vote altho he should have taken a stronger stand on releasing the innocent WM3 fellows. But he is definately way better than that stupid Rick Crawford. Dumber than dumb that one.
