I was just wondering who are the richest people or families in Jonesboro? Does anybody know? What are their net worths and how did they become so wealthy in the first place?

Doesn't Forbes come out with these lists all the time? Richest people in the world, the U.S., Athletes, etc.?

Yeah, I thought so.

BAH! this is goofy... I know of many people who all live in the half million dollar house, drive the $80 grand car(s), have business's, lake houses etc annnnnd it's just a number on paper. Truth is, they're in debt up to they're eyebrows and actual cash money they can lay their hands on is not that much. Available credit levied against assets that already have loans is not what you can gauge ones "richness" by. So... throwing names out there is pretty stupid unless you actually know a persons wealth annnnd good luck with the truth on that. My neighbor is a big name and looks to have a big game but his electric is shut off every couple months for non payment and he has to charge the bill on a credit card to get it turned on, HILARIOUS! On paper he has all the credentials of a rich man but he doesn't have the cash to buy new tires that aren't bald. Jonesboro is all about "the image" and more people have a great fake image then there is people with real money.

There are so many 'wannabes' with credit cards in Jonesboro, that lots of people who are thought to be 'rich' are actually just very, very deeply in debt.

Nobody knows for sure who is rich and who isn't any more. Thanks to welfare and credit cards there is little distinction between the 'haves' and the 'have nots'.

I think that is what they used to call keeping up with the Smith's and Jone's. You find most of these people in some mega church on sundays showing their material wares.
They are so damn stupid.

There is nothing wrong with that and the Lord WANTS HIS people blessed. He loves to provide NICE things for HIS people. The only thing He says is don't worship the nice material things, and don't let the material things take the place of Him in your life. He loves to see His people with nice material things.
