We ate there opening week and it was so good. We are big meat eaters and the steaks were amazing. I think with tip included we spent around $150. But there are 7 of us. It's better than Outback (but priced similarly.) We normally go to Colton's bc it's less expensive but still good. Longhorn's is special occasions only for us.

Expensive overpriced crap just like red lobster and the rest of the 'fancy' eating places in Jonesboro, not worth it. Would rather buy my own steak and cook it myself to MY liking with MY seasoning etc. Can have a complete steak dinner just like they serve you but 5x better for 1/2 the price.

I be damn if I pay someone to throw my steak on the ground and then fry it up and cover it with some mushrooms or parsley and sauce...

Why can't we just freakin' talk about what the forum is for! Topix is so frustrating.
I loved Longhorn. It's my new favorite place to eat out!

Been once, service was good, atmosphere was clean, sides were good, but the steak was kind of dry, more than a little over cooked for medium rare, and didn't have much flavor.

Not hating on you or on your comment, but of course its gonna have a good atmosphere(looks and feel wise) its a newly opened business.

Bet your steak was salty too wasn't it?

It's def not a given that new establishments have an atmosphere which is enjoyable. No, it fact it wasn't salty ... I would've welcomed some sodium, at least it wouldn't brought out more of the steak's natural flavor that hadn't been cooked out of it. The cut of meat was decent. My guess is that it may have sat up in the window and residually cooked.
