Finally someone that really knows what they are about,,, Money only !Dr. Parkey and Dr. Davis are the most expensive! They have a board at their office that shows them how much money they make each day , month, and give their employees bonuses by how much money they make. All they care about is the money. Go to their breakroom and look. People are so stupid to fall for their crap.

I use Dr. Tyrer and personally I think he is great! I had started a new job and was affraid to take off, so he stayed late one day after work and did my dental work. Dentist have to make a living for themselves plus pay their employees.. They have bills just like everyone else.

Dr Morgan TMJ Specialist expects payment up front TMJ. You would think this would cover the initial visit, not at all, this was an additional $350. When you go in, instead of seeing Dr. Morgan you are seeing his friendly staff of techs. I've been seeing him for 10 months and have only have seen him two times. His techs do all the adjustments and s
"seat" the orthonic in my mouth. Most times it doesn't fit and this causes more migraines (which is why I came to see him in the first place. All in all I think he is a total rip off. |

Then why do you still go to him? I saw him once. I've had TMJ issues for more than ten years. I even had jaw surgery a few years ago. I went to Morgan one time. With my insurance (which wouldn't cover any of his additional services), the first visit cost $175. Then, I was told that I needed an orthotic appliance (which I've had five of over the years) that was a bit different than the one I had at the time, and the damn thing was going to cost $3000 with all the follow-up visits and such. Instead of doing that, I saw my family doctor and then did physical therapy. It seemed to help a lot with range of motion, and my jaw doesn't hurt quite as bad. There are still days where it hurts like hell, and it still pops (loudly) most of the time when I open my mouth. But I'd rather save my $3000. Besides, in a year or two, they will come out with the next best thing in TMJ treatment, and whatever you're currently using won't "work" anymore. That's how it has been for me. I've tried so many different things, none of which have actually healed the problem. Oh, and while we're on the TMJ issue...it is about time for the medical field and dental field to get together with the insurance industry and decide once and for all how to deal with TMJ. Most insurance companies won't cover it. Dental insurance says TMJ is medical. Medical insurance says TMJ is dental. It is a joint. Insurance companies don't turn away treatment of a knee, shoulder or ankle, and those are all joints as well. Why is the jaw so different? |

I totally agree with you, you should put in a complaint to the state dental board and tell them how he doesn't even see you or treat you when you have dental visits. He is letting his staff treat you and that is against the law. Your not the only person he treats this way. Call Little Rock information and get the number to the Board office. Maybe they can get some of your money back for you. |

Burris team. I was told my child would have to have braces for 2 years it would cost 5500.00 well I took him for a second opinion and he would only need partials for 12 months and it would be less than 2000.00

i would like to know where this "partial" braces come from, Are they a specialist? I am sure burris will make them a perfect smile where the other one probably not. I work in the dental field and when my kids get old enough we will definately use a specialist to have their ortho done |

The other came highly reccomended and yes he is a specialist. I thought the Burris team seemed very professional but they want to do more than what is needed which in return costs more. I just want what my child needs. They will look great i'm sure and confident of that. |

I would love to know the name of the cheaper "specialist" also. We have been seeing Dr Burris for about 2 years and he has NEVER even sent me a bill. My children will need braces in the future, but hw is trying to defer it as long as possible because they are so young. We LOVE Dr Burris and his staff they are awesome and seems like they really care for your child. Also he comes very highly recommended from the dental school and almost every pediatric dentist in this area. |

I totally agree, I needed one tooth fixed in the front and he suggested that each tooth across the front be worked for about $12,000! I told him I didn't pay that much for my car. |

My first two children went to Dr. Jackson and then my last went to Dr. Burris. I definitely have to say that Dr. Burris is the best! He charged the same or less as Dr. Jackson. And Dr Burris even said if our son had any trouble with anything he would put his braces back on at no charge if at any time he would have to have jaw surgery in the future. |

I have worked in the dental field for over 10 years in Jonesboro. In that time I have worked in several offices. I have lots of friends in the dental field so I have a really good insight into most practices.
Parkey and Davis and Tyrer (while they do good work)will over diagnose every time. DO NOT go there! There are lots of great dentists mentioned on here. Some charge less, but you get what you pay for. I'm not currently working full time anywhere. Just doing fill in and temp work while my kids are young. But, my family and I go to Dr. Higgins...GREAT work, honest, and reasonable fees. Tina at the front desk is very helpful. Missy is the hygienist we always see...she is great with my kids, and is very gentle and thorough. I have also heard great things about Dr. Higginbothom, but I haven't seen any of his work so I'm not sure. My friends that work for him have said nothing but good things. I would go with one of those two. |

No doubt Dr. Parkey and Davis. Dr. Taylor charged me 200 less for my crown than they did.
