No, absolutely not. If someone cut a kitten or dog into pieces and threw it in the garbage can he would be prosecuted and put in jail for a long time. But doctors can do that to a baby??? Shameful. Only the heathen sacrifice their offspring for their own enjoyment.

Abortion in any form should be illegal.

Take a look at this link: http://www.pregnantpause.org/abort/dx.htm
and at this video.

It explains a lot. How can anyone support this? Obama does.

President Obama continues to make a woman's health and her right to choose a priority. I agree!

Pros & Cons of Partial Birth Abortion

http://usliberals.about.com/od/healthcare/i/P...

Partial-birth abortion is a non-medical term used to describe a type of an abortion procedure which is performed in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, with the goal of delivering a fetus that is not alive.
Hotly Contested Right-to-Life Issue

Partial-birth abortion is also one of the most hotly contested right-to-life political issues in America.

Most legal battles over banning this late-term pregnancy-termination procedure relate to the inclusion of exemptions for certain circumstances, most notably to save the life or health of the woman.

Repeat: most notably to save the life or health of the woman.

I agree!

Obama/Biden 2012!

I respect the fact that you have as much right to your opinion as I do, and the goal may be to deliver a dead fetus, BUT that fetus is a baby. a human being and it is a VERY painful way to die. It is wrong on so many levels and I will never support it. It is just plain murder of an unborn child. God be with all that perform this. I am sick to my stomach that anyone can condone this kind of procedure. The very thought of a defenseless little child killed in this manner and YES, a fetus is an unborn baby (child).

I support a woman's right to choose and to make the decisions about her own health care.

I understand that you do even at the expense of an innocent unborn child.

what about when the life or health of the mother is threatened? You get to make her decision for her?

I didn't finish my thought before I accidently hit enter. I understand the right to make our own decisions about our health and I truly believe that you believe it is ok and just a procedure. I don't think that you are a heartless person at all. It is just something that I can never support. I would give up my life for my child not the other way around. Every child is a gift from God. The unborn baby cannot help how it is conceived.

Maybe a better middle ground would be that we not be forced to pay for abortions with our tax money. I don't feel like I should have to pay for something that I am so adamently against. All I can do is pray for all those women who make this decision whether it be out of fear, desperation, or whatever the circumstance. It is not for me to judge others, only God has that right. I'm merely speaking my feelings and do not mean to offend. However, I cannot support Obama.

Your vote, your choice. I'm against war - very much so. So much very painful death and dismemberment. However, I won't try and force you to look at pictures of bodies killed in war. Can you arrange it so my tax dollars don't pay for that?

No, but I wish I could arrange for you not to have to pay for it. However, the wonderful people who go to defend our country are adults and do so willingly unlike the innocent baby who does not have a choice. I've said all I'm going to on the subject. It is your vote, your choice as well.

Actually I was talking about the innocent civilian causalities - men, women, children and babies.

Yes, I agree, that is a terrible senseless tragedy. However, throughout history, we have had war and probably will continue to.

I believe everyone should mind their own uterus. I am sick and tired of the self-righteous attempting to force "their beliefs" on the rest of the country. Roe v Wade settled this issue a long time ago.

And I'm sick and tired of people calling us pro-life people self-righteous. I am not trying to force my opinions on anyone but I do have a right to express them as much as you do.

This thread is about opinions on the legality of second trimester abortions not whether or not you have the right to express your opinion. Everyone has the right to their opinion however changing laws already in place based on the moral opinions of a one group to limit the rights of another is "self-righteous behavior."

I think a mother should be able to get rid of their
kids from conception up to the age of 6 or 7 years old.

“ Dump Obama November 6, 2012”

Since some of think obama is the greatest president ever. Some of you need to hop on the internet and seen the hotel resort where he stayed at the convention. It was extra expensive and there is no telling what it cost and you know who paid for it. All us tax payers. I've had one vacation this year didn't get to do much had to book my hotel at $59. a night I didn't get to do much and had to watch ever penny i spent I all spent was about maybe about 400.00. And our president has taken about 40 vacations since he's been in office. No telling what he has spent in 4 years. I like to know how many of didn't take a vacation cause you couldn't afford to. I'm betting the rest of you maybe at least took one this years. Is it right that we the taxpayers who work our butt off have to struggle, while this man lives in such luxury for 4 years while the rest of you suffer. Is the man you want running this country, who only cares about you just long enough to get your vote. before you vote for him I ask each one of you to go see 2016. It's an eye opener and you will wonder why anyone voted for him in the first place. It's time to face reality folks if we want this country to get better Obama has to go.

I do NOT support partial birth abortion and was merely expressing my opinion about that. I do not believe it should be legal. That is not self-righteous behavior any more that you expressing your opinion about this thread. Take a look at what another poster posted showing how the procedure is carried out and tell me you can support the murder of a child who feels EVERYTHING!!!
