I used Ray Nickle when my wife and I divorced. Great guy, reasonable price and worked hard for me. Had two court dates, when the second one ended, I, the dad had full custody of my one year old daughter. My ex had minimum chart visitation. Ray even followed up with me several months afterwards just to see how things were goin for my daughter and I. Strongly reccomend Ray and his staff!!

Whatever you do don't use Scott Straub! He is a fat azz lazy lawyer that will make you lose custody of your kids, and has a b*t*h for a wife!

Don't use Chad Oldham..He is incompetent, took us in front of the wrong judge, didn't even know proper procedure. He's a shyster for sure.

Does anyone else out there think that it is ridiculous how the legal system and government agencies(such as the office of child support enforcement) automatically treat every dad out there like he is a dead beat? I realize that there are a lot of dead beat dads out there, who do not want to have anything to do with their children, but there are also a lot of shitty mom's out there as well. I realize not every situation is the same, but why doesn't the legal system realize this. They lean towards the mother's defense no matter how much messed up stuff she has done....

wasn't there a story about him being banned from practicing law in the Jonesboro Sun a few months ago? something happened in another state that got him in big trouble.

Barbara Halsey is now a circuit judge - as such, she does not accept cases for private clients.

I have a case coming up for custody in Halsey's court... I am the father looking for full custody of my son. What does she like to see presented? Is she better with a male or female attorney?

Glad to know I'm not the only one who dispises Chris Jester. Looks like he's just a snake in the grass to everyone. He must equally suck to all parties involved. Ans for the life of me, I can't imagine why he didn't win for city council? Guess his practices caught up with him and his behavior. What a waste.

She is not about the children. She is about one parent over the other. Whoever she likes in that case. I have witnessed it first hand. She has lost alot of cases too. Not ethically professional.

You are right...she is not professional at all. She is very unethical.

I was wanting to know a good child custody lawyer here in jonesboro, ar! That will actually fight and actually cares about the case! And returns calls, and doesn't roll the cases out for the financial part! I know a lawyer is expensive but doesn't make no since to play it out as long as possible!

I do not have anything good to say about any attorney. They are all greedy and know one another. The judges are the same way. It's a good ole boy system, especially in Craighead County. Good luck getting a fair and impartial judge/hearing/attorney in this town.
