Martha Gilpatrick hard working , explained everythig from the very begining, always answered our questons. and we won!! she was representing the father and father's are usually told they won't win, but we did and it was because of her.$100 hour but well worth it, my divorce was handled by Alan Seagrave and you get what you pay for no contest $400 not worth it...

does anyone know a good divorce lawyer?
My vote goes for Michael Lilly, Lilly and Deprow...someone on here mentioned Kevin Orr, in my experience he was a joke my ex husband is a Physician and used Kevin he took A LOT of money from him and came to court ill preparred my attorney smoked him, it was a joke. He tried the mud slinging thing and it was pointless and not factual at all but that was their defense and as a result they lost BIG TIME. Also he kept adding to my ex's bill every time he had to talk to my attorney and his bill ran up to over 9000.00, Michael did it for a flat rate no matter how deep the contesting got, in the end we settled out between the two of us so he was basically out almost 10 grand for an attorney who told him what he wanted to hear but when he got to court it was baseless.... You should at least talk to Michael before you hire anyone else I'm betting you'll be impressed.

I don't practice divorce law, but, in my humble opinion, the best divorce attorneys in jonesboro are either Scott Emerson or Michael Lilly. They may be higher priced, but that is because they are ethical and well prepared when they go to court.

Very well said.....I paid Michael Lilly $5000.00 and it was worth every penny, it was a flat rate so whether we went to court once or fifteen times the cost was the same. I realize that 5000.00 sounds like a lot of money but if it's contested and your up against a ruthless ex and his/her attorney it could be minimal compared the the major screws that could be put to you in a settlement.
He stinks

Well dont use chad oldham he is a joke my ex used him in uncontested and that idiot screwed everything up so bad that i had to help her take the house back from me and its still not straightened out so if you do uncontested just go to court house ask for the forms pay like $100 and do it yourselves why pay lawyers to do what you can do you dont have to have a lawyer to get a divorce but whatever you do steer clear of the clusterf$&k at olhams law firm he is a total waste of time money and carries zero courtroom respect

Don't use Tiner, Cobb, and Byars in Harrisburg. They are extremely slow, expensive, lazy, and will NOT return a phone call to save your life.
