For one thing they will have to pay it all back! If I'm not mistaken they wont be eligible for government assistance in the future either.

I don't know but I would also like to know. I have a cousin who is as worthless as boobs on a bull who is pulling the same thing. She gets help for herself and three kids. She lives in a section 8 house and gets food stamps and whatever else they provide. The kids don't live with her. They live with their grandparents. They have different dads so they don't live together. She doesn't even use the food card to buy food to give to the grand parents to feed the kids. She feeds what ever crack head she has laid up in her free house at the moment. Our family isn't for it either. She has either stolen from or hurt everyone in our family who has tried to help her. I don'y have anything to do with her. I feel sorry for her kids

Don't do the crime if ya can't do the time! I don't know what the charges will be, but they should have thought about that before they did it. Since it's my tax dollars at work I should hope they had to pay it all back and then some..and maybe a BUNCH of community service too.

All must be repaid ,plus a hefty fine, its pure fraud and the government could impose a year in jail, and no benefits for 8 years. That is the extreme. But if you are caught in any fraud like this or caught using meth in certain rentals .you too will not get benefits for 8 years. It is a new policy a lot of property owners are looking at.Since meth not only ruins you,it also makes the owner have to replace all the sheet rock as paint will not stick to it,and meth also rusts out all wiring ,for the heat and air,and stuff.Oh and you will have your name in the paper too!!Not to mention the list you will now be on.

yeah and the bad thing about the situation is the relative doesnt sale thier food stamps or do drugs or smoke etc. they are just a single parent trying to feed their kids. I am not trying to say its right by no means. I just know their are parents who sale their food stamps and kids dont eat and the parents are losers on drugs. the system sucks bad and usually the really, really bad ones that cheat the govt never get causght because they know how to work it. Almost everyone who gets assistance I know lies somewhere even grannies lie. they put their homes, cars etc in someone elses names just to get by. It is sad when people that make no less or more tell the truth and dont get nothing, but Lying and getting caught would be far worse than having to do without. sometimes parents do what they gotta do i guess.

can you form a simple sentence? do you know how to spell correctly? if you are the one in the family with the brains, no wonder your family member is in trouble. you are all of bunch of mindless dolts and simpletons.

I honestly don't know....but I can ask around and find out. I have heard that they are really about to start cracking down on this fraud within the government though.
A lot of people supposedly fill out for assistance, then they get a job, then keep pretending like they have no income. They have been very lax and lazy on this, but now that the government is getting it's butt in a bind and so in debt.....they are finally going to start doing their job and making it to where they help the ones that truly need help and start picking the ticks off.

I have heard that government assistance would indefinately be cut out for anyone caught defrauding, but I could be wrong on that. I will try to find out for certain though.
