Let me get this right u hope more childern die from this, u are sick. My daughter is 10 and she rides a 4-wheeler but myself or my husband is watching her, I don't see how anyone could say people are hillbillies for letting their childern ride atv's, I will admit 2 is alittle young but these parents don't deserve what u are saying. People make mistakes young and old and they have to live with them the rest of their life, a mother never forgets losing a child.

Haha, your sick. There just needs to be a better form of communicating on how dangerous one can be and precautions that can be taken to never let this happen.

ATV's are not toys and parents need to really think about that before letting their kid on one. No where does it say a child under 5 should be riding these. I'm not saying i'm a perfect parent at all, but I really do think about things before I let my child do them because I don't want something like this to happen. I think we don't think this is going to happen to us and it has to be something this tragic to make us realize.

My thoughts and prayers do go out to the family. I hope they find are able to find some peace during this awful time. I can't even imagine losing one of my babies. I agree they don't need bashing right now, but we're all putting our opinions of this awful situation out there.

You know what it doesn't matter how much publicity accidents like this happen because stupid people are to stupid to realize their mistakes. We were at the ER today with my sick child and a two year old was brought in from an ATV accident. I think these parents need to be charged with a crime. Indangering the welfare of a minor.

The news said this baby didn't die due to a 4 wheeler accident after all. It's mother's boyfriend beat it to death and the mother covered it up. He has been arrested and they are fixing to charge the mother too!

Yes they were watching.... They love their children very much... its a tragic thing that happened. People should leave them alone. think about if it was your child. you wouldnt want people talking about you. They are good parents and it didnt happen because they were being careless. People dont know the facts about what actually happend they just assume they know and talk

Listen, The family you are talking about... the one that ur making up lies about... They are good people... They love their children and they were all out having a fun family day. The mother... it was her only child. She spent every minute with her child. loved her so much. The boyfriend you are talking about... doesnt exist. her husband on the other hand was right there with her through it all. they did everything they possible could to save her life. Before you start talking about people and making stuff up, think about something... How would u feel if it had been you and ur children? All these people making crap up about you. u wouldnt like it. Quit talking crap about good people

What you people are not understanding is the fact , that those of us who are on here blaming the parents ,WOULD NEVER ALLOW OUR 2 YR OLDS TO BE ON A 4 WHEELER. Stupid people do stupid things .

I feel sorry for you. They are NOT stupid. Never in their wildest dreams did they think their child would die by seeing their child smile by allowing her to ride for even a short distance. You are pathetic. You are no smarter than they are. You're judgements are no more perfect than theirs. Perhaps your child lives. May God have mercy on your STUPID words.

ALL OF YOU - SHUT UP!

Details are minor..bottom line is these parents have lost their child. If you don't have anything good to say then go away. This family needs your prayers NOT your accusations. If you put that much energy into praying and serving the Lord this world might be better off.

Yes, it happened because they (the parents) WERE being careless! If they had not been so, the child would not have died! I don't know why else it would have happened. That's a stupid statement to make.
They let their baby on a motorized vehicle and now she's dead and guess what else. That little boy who was driving the 3 wheeler is going to blame himself for the rest of his life for her dying. And it wasn't his fault! But he'll probably carry the guilt forever.

<quoted text> Man.....I hope and pray YOU never make a bad decision at a fleeting moment and something happens that you cant change or take back no matter how bad you want too! And if it does I sure hope that no one LIKE YOU is there to make things worse! But let me guess, you are so darn perfect that it would never happen! To you it is as plain as the nose on your face because it was an ATV accident because you probably dont own one or have ever had any experience with one!! And that is fine. That is your own decision! Everyone has things in thier life like that! You may not let a child ride an ATV, but let them have a Jeep with the top down with 3 other screaming teens with the radio blasting driving 70 down a freeway with semi trucks right beside them, and never think twice about it! I mean i am not criticising either one...its all about choices! And sometimes you make bad ones!! Let it rest and let them grieve in peace! Dont be the JERK on topix that runs off at the mouth before thinking and LOOKING at your own mistakes!! And dont tell me you havent made them...because you would then be a JERK and a LIAR!!!!
There is a big difference between a supposedly responsible teenager who has a drivers license in a Jeep, and a 2 year old and a 9 year old on a motorized ATV. No comparison really. 9 year olds have no idea about the consequences of accidents, they don't even know that they COULD die or accidently kill their baby sister. The PARENTS are solely responsible when the kids are too young to be on a dangerouse vehicle. Even a bicycle ride around the neighborhood can kill a child, too many parents don't even know their kids ride in the street and put themselves in danger every day. Parents that are doing their job know exactly what their kids are up to especially if they are under 10 years old. Your argument is weak.

People keep confusing TWO different children. One 2 yr. old child was beaten and the other (2 1/2)died in an ATV incident.

I don't understand why charges are not going to be pressed, no 2 year old should be on an ATV. That is blatant child endangerment. You whine bags bitch about texting and driving, or not wearing a seatbelt, but you defend a parent riding an ATV with a 2-yr-old??
It was one of those child size battery operated jeeps that little kids have, I know some of the family members so please do not be judging so harshly until you read what happened. Be a grown up & show some respect to this family, we never know what our future holds so don't be so quick on your harsh words
