if you are talking about the location under your avatar, you cannot. It will show whatever your isp shows.

You can change that. I did.

As a registered user, fill in your location by hand under your profile. Mine used to say Little Rock.

I forgot about the hometown feature... it will place whatever hometown you choose for location.

no just go Youtube.com under change my ip address. I used the one that says in 10 seconds and aslo the 30 sec. one works. very easy. here's how

1st- click on the start up menu
2nd- type cmd (which means command) then press enter
3rd- type ipconfig/release then press enter
4th- type ipconfig/renew then press enter
Your new ip address should be there. I changed mine like 5 to 6 times one day to see if it works and it did. I by no means, know much about computers, so if I can you can. GOOD LUCK!!!!

If you're workin from a desk top, disconnect power from your internet network connection. Wait a few seconds and reconnect. It should show something differant.

Most of the time it stays the same since it is based on your ISP location

Could because you have Orlando on your profile as your hometown. I'm not real sure either.

All that does is change the page to the news of whatever location you type in.That's not what they mean.Talking about changing the ISP location beneath the poster user name.I never have been able to change it,but,I understand you can google in "proxy server" and do so by using this.

you cannot change it unless you have a registered account. Once you have that account, click on your alias to go to your profile page, on the far right where it says Q & A click on edit, then under hometown, type in the town you want shown.
