What a sad situation for both the woman victim (and her family) and the young driver who hit her (and his family). My heart goes out to them all; and I would hope and pray that a lesson will be learned from anyone who hears about this terrible tragedy: alcohol kills!! When are we going to get it?

I hope he gets more than the 4 months that is recommended by the jury.

It's an "iffy" call, but he should do a little time because alcohol was in the equation, If for nothing else, to at least let the family of the deceased have some kind of feeling of justice

How is 4 months fair? This BOY needs more! 4 months only to get out & do it again?! What about her family? Her 3 children having to grow up without a mother now? He gets 4 months for something stupid that could have been prevented and her family has to pay for the rest of their lives! Justice has not been served!!!!!!!!!!

if 12 people, 11 of which were middle aged women get together and decide this "boy" only deserves 4 months and the judge agrees, that should say something. keep in mind, he'll have to live with this for the rest of his life. the court obviously sees this young man as a person of good character, who had a very unfortunate accident. if you were at the trial, you would know more. it lasted 12 hours. it was a little more than a 21 year old driving drunk. because thats not what happened.
