Last year my 9yr old son decided he wanted to give his old toys and clothes to the kids of Appalachia for Christmas. He learned in school that this area of the country was among the poorest and that it was so close to where he lived. So we asked if anyone wanted to donate new and used items to take with us for Christmas. In 6wks we collected donations that was estimated at over $250,000. We was able to help 6 organizations, 3 group homes and over 150 famalies! If anyone would like to help my son and I this year, we would love to have any help to duplicate last years Christmas totals. Thanks.
