Ok, Midwest Geeration owns th coal burning electric plants in Northen Illinois. The one on RT-7 (Larken) & RT-6, is one.

As well all know, the Obama Administration is attacking coal through the EPM new rules being imposed on the industry (bypassing Congress of course). Beides the 150,000 Coal mining jobs ost/to-be lost, we will see the impact locally, given we have such plants here, Joliet, Romeoville, etc...

These plants are filled with Union workers (Union supporting Obama workers).

Locally 1,000's of jobs will be gone in 2013, and instead of you & I paying $8/MW for coal power, we will will pay $22/MW+ for Wind & Solar (that there is not enough of).

How do these Union workers feel about the result of supporting Obama?(Please keep comments honest & clean).

They voted for him. They can suck on it, hard. As for the increase in energy costs to me, I can probably handle it. But I can't wait until these Obama voters get what they voted for!! LOL! Raise the taxes on everything and everyone!!

I think it's a stretch to say that all Midwest gen employees voted for Obama. They are aware of the fact that their jobs are practically non existent. Many have been laid off or transferred; or forced into retirement. The solar/wind plants can be an economical source of energy, but us 'middle class' workers can't afford to start them (or even one) up. I have drawn up a few different plans in hopes of gaining some funding and am at a stand still. I hope that my husband can implement on a much smaller scale and hopefully they grow from there.

Obama warned everyone that we need to pay more for fuel and power. We use too much and that's not fair to the world. I hope the Obama supporters suffer & lose everything for their stupidity. They deserve it!
