If this A hole didn't break the windows then he had no reason to run from the cops, and don't put no bs that he was scared. that A hole broke those windows and tried to run over a cop he got what he deserved.
nobody deserves to get shot. Jail time would have been just fine

What I said was he was not caught doing that ..it says "allegedly" and many people run for many reasons.I feel that all is not being said and that it could of been handled differently ,not with so much blood shed.Plus I understand that one officer got out of the way the other did all the shooting so my guess is he did not have to move at all,so was Mr Pachecho really aiming for the officers ?Just many questions to be answered.

I find it funny that someone who does not know James can sit there and call him a thug. He was accused of breaking windows but was never caught, how does that justify being shot 5 times? It Does not!

Well if you and pall there was more of the reading type you would like for more articles then this one cuz on the WJOL website it says "at 2:29 AM this morning, offices were called to Union Street, where 35 year old James Pacheco was accused of criminal damage to property, having smashed in the windows of a car." so yeah there is one article that says "windows of a car".

Why so brutal? He tried to run over a cop. That's attempted murder of a police officer. That's a justified shooting. That's also 20 or more years in prison.

Now, none of this would have happened if Pachecho hadn't have tried to run over a cop.

<quoted text> no it's not ok. But maybe if he got into a fight with that person they hurt him do bad that he would rather die. Maybe that person pushed him to the limit. Maybe the police should be investigating that. Why he broke those windows. That person may be the cause of the whole thing
Are you crazy? We all face decisions daily where we have to choose to do what is right and what is wrong, regardless of the circumstances. There is only one person in this story that tried to do harm or allude the police and only one person that used poor judgement and chose to not listen to the police.

i found it funny too how do you know that these people dont know james and maybe you dont know the real james he may be a thug being accused of dose not mean he was not caught he just was not seen by the cops breaking the windows thats why they have to put accused because the people windows he broke out are accuseing him maybe the people whos windows he broke out seen him it justify being shot because he ran from the cops and them almost ran a cop down if he would of stop in the first place he wouldnt have got shot

5 shots didn't stop dumbass from risking more lives. 10-12 would still not be out of line if he continued to drive off. He was treated with kid gloves and chose door number 2, to resist with deadly force. If he was shot 30 times and drove 10 more feet, the force would not have been excessive or "out of line".

If you look at his past records it looks like he has gotten into some trouble with the authorities before. What was he doing drinking and then driving in the first place. This idiot is lucky the bullets didn't kill him. It's a shame that we are wasting our money on him.

I'm not sure the story behind this but what if you were in that persons shoes whom he broke out windows on their home. You would call the police too. It was his own fault for running from the police. He got what he deserved. He deserves worse like the death penalty for trying to kill our officers.

In shock on how someone can be so judged..Why would anyone want someone to die? Especially over windows that can be replaced..There is so much to this story that is not told. Noone knows the whole truth but one man. The man that is laying in a hospital bed in critical condition and is not able to tell his story. In the end, not everyone will completely happy with the outcome. The THRUTH WILL come out..Praying for the family of James Pacheco that he has a complete recovery and is able to tell his story on this situation. Also praying for the officers involved that they are able to live with the decisions they made at that moment. Asking myself if this situation happened at a different time of day, would the outcome be the same?
