I say the republicans proposes a 10% tax cut for the middle class. We have been at the same tax rate for about 10 years We need a tax cut, not a freeze! Obama says he is for the middle class. Let's test him?

It more than just raise taxs...it's that the Liberal controlled Dem Party want to keep spending!

Why else would they want to refrain from providing cuts???

Bottom line: We don't have the money, and have not had the money for years. Waste, and vote buying give aways are at the core of all this.

Even Hold On & DesPlaines could grasp that! And that's a statement in itself! <lol

LOL! Now Obama wants congress to step aside and allow him to set the debt ceiling where he wants to.. He wants to destroy as quick as possible. His hatred towards America is starting to drive him nuts.

Where is the compromise? I thought Obama wanted to reach a compromise. Well here is his idea of compromise. You guys take these tax hikes and we'll give you a bogus promise about spending cuts at some later date but we'll refuse to address what any of those cuts might be and in the mean time, we'll talk about more stimulus money being handed out.

Are Americans really so stupid that they believe him when he says he has a "balanced" approach? Or are Americans so stupid that they really believe that our taxes are too low and that we don't really have a spending problem? Or worse, are Americans so stupid that they don't care what the problem is, so long as they keep getting goody bags from the government?

And by the way, I saw an article the other day that said that Obama's economist talked about how raising taxes on the wealthy would be likely to have a trickle down effect on the poor and middle class. That was Obama's guy saying that. I guess he doesn't even listen to his own people now.

He wants to destroy America. That's what no one gets, or wants to talk about!
