Sometimes in your neighborhood you just have to say, "Enough is enough and we aren't calling the police anymore." The south and west sides of Chitcago could use some of this kind of justice. It's obvious that Zim had had enough. Trey didn't know the "Creepy ass cracker" was carrying either. That in and of itself is a very big issue here. Trey had come from California where his mother couldn't control him to his father's house in Florida. They pack in Florida. A lot. Trey didn't expect that, I guarantee you.

Funny how our President is defined as a " BLACK " instead of a WHITE-BLACK though he is of mixed race , but George Zimmerman is being defined as a " WHITE - HISPANIC " instead of just " HISPANIC " even though he is of mixed race ? Seems convenient for those who have injected race into this tragic , unneccessary loss of life . If we are ever going to get racial equality the rules need to be the same , the Hater's would have a hard time drumming up the demonstrators if it was a Black/Hispanic incident.

No one accused him of being a cop except you? What you claim Zimmerman did is not a crime. You seem to think it is? The operators that answer emergency calls are not legal authority? Where did you come up with that from? You don't know how Trayvon would have reacted to a police officer. Your assuming based on your emotions. You can feel sorry for Trayvon all you want. All the facts of the case in court point out that Trayvon is a racist, violent, and paid for it for it with his life in a self defense situation. Rationale people would feel sorry for Zimmerman for he is the true victim in this case of truth and facts. I hope Zimmerman gets enough money from NBC for falsely portraying him a racist. He then can live in peace and prosperity from this great wrong done against him! No matter what someone says to you, you can't react with racism and violence. You should understand that Appalled. I think your emotionally caught up in the propaganda that was spread before this case went to trial. Your ignoring all the facts Appalled.
My opinion is not based on emotion. It is based more on skepticism. Elevating "Zim" to hero status seems emotional to me.

I don't recall anyone naming Zim a hero? God forbid he had to use his gun, but look at what he went through before he pulled it. He & witnesses stated Tray was on top of him & pounding him. Think about a 6'1" 160 lb man on top of you & pounding you. In that moment you can't say time out can you. Your life is at risk, you are trained, you pull your self defense weapon, and end the threat. I can't imagine a guy with CC entering a situation by starting a physical fight. IMO, it had to be Tray initiating the physical attack, surprising Zim (or he would have has his gun already out). It's common sense to me. The only reason this is in court is because of the after the fact racist involvement by Jessie & Al. How many times now have these two stepped into a situation like this claiming race war, and later finding out their guy/gal was at fault? All this trial is, is the result of racist black leaders.

Get through the quick commercial, and listen to Zim walk cops through the entire event, and before he even had an attorney.

I had not seen this tape, only read transcripts. It was very interesting and convincing when you add Zimmerman's calm and truthful sounding demeanor.

I think though that it is human nature when giving details to make every single detail show the teller in the very best light. We can only imagine that if Martin had been interviewed the same way, he would have made himself look equally as innocent.

In the end the jury will have to decide whether they believe the last man standing. This tape could be very convincing.

I never said anyone named him a hero, although I believe many people have. I said you elevated him to hero status which is exactly what you have done on many occasions in many of your posts.

All trials are a search for the truth. I see no reason why the black community should not have had their questions answered through the trial process.

Not only the black community, but the country as a whole. I hope that both Martin and Zimmerman get justice...justice for Martin if Zimmerman was a racist, wanta be cop, who killed for no reason...justice for Zimmerman is Martin was a thug who attacked the man who was simply trying to protect his community.

I have one more hope. I hope that rational people will take the media for what it is...a group of people who wish to manipulate the news rather than report if fairly. And.....
That if the evidence indicates that Martin was at fault and that Zimmerman is freed, black folk will not riot and demean themselves.

If someone is following me and I feel threatened I will try to get away. If I can't succeed in that I will strike first to defend myself. Maybe that's what Martin did. The 911 call alone proves Z as the instigator/stalker. I am all for watching out for your neighbors and defending yourself. However only one person now can tell the story and that person is the one who had the gun and was told by law enforcement to stand down. Yes a 911 dispatch is part of law enforcement.

You are so off target & clueless that it is sad. Stalker? <lol He's a NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH! Trained by local Police! Do you know nothing about the Neighborhood Watch programs? I guess not.

If someone was wearing a hoodie at night in the rain, prowling around your neighbors home, a few blocks down, you'd cry like a school girl. Then blame the cops for not getting there in time too I bet! If you were attacked by a 6'1" 160 lb guy, pounding you, breaking your nose, smashing your head, you'd cry like a school girl. Chances are your family will be burying you too. Real men hope for the best but prepare for the worst. Cowboy up little guy... Stalking??? You sound like an idiot....

I have a question that I have yet to see addressed. Can one claim self defense only if they're the one carrying a weapon? Couldn't it be said that Travon felt threatened and used the only "weapons" available to him, his fists and the concrete sidewalk? The thing that bothers me the most about this is that any way you slice it, Zim was the instigator. I can't see how one can create a confrontation and when it turns bad, kill someone claiming self defense. Here's a hypothetical. Your 17 year old daughter is hanging out in the neighborhood. A creepy guy in a van starts making inappropriate comments towards her. He gets out and approaches her. She thinks he may be trying to assault her so she repeatedly kicks him in the nuts. He then pulls out a gun and shoots her dead claiming self defense. Can anyone tell me how this scenerio is any different than what happened in Florida?

Zimmerman was not officially trained nor officially recognized. Perhaps you should do some research before you call someone else clueless.

The problem with that article is that they say Zim was out patrolling that night. Never saw that anywhere before????

Yet another made up scenario.
