You wouldn't need a survival guide if America would have used their head and not re-elected Obama. Americans are very stupid at times.

I thought the same thing when Bush was elected the first time let alone the second. Sure could have used an economic survival guide after 7 years of his rule. A pure travesty.

Were you on welfare during the Bush era? I'm confused on what Bush has to do with Obamacare?

Just pointing how stupid Americans were to ever elect him. We also added a trillion dollar healthcare program under Bush. It's called the donut hole coverage for prescription drugs.

Poor argument. You need to be honest with yourself and blame Obama when blame is due.

Sorry got to blame the manager of the team when it happened. Only one President in history assumed the Presidency with an economy this bad. You need to be honest when blame is due.

Bush is a socialist as well. I agree with you. But Obama has spent annually the most out of all presidents. Last time I checked, I've never seen someone pay off their credit card debit by charging more on their credit card. That's what Obama is doing right now

Obama is the first president that a survival guide came about to save the citizens from his devastation. Its the best seller on Amazon right now.

Obama and Michelle must laugh at how stupid the American people are every night before they go to bed!

Now some Democrats and the unions are backing the movement to repeal Obama-care. You would think they would have did a bit of research prior to jumping on the bandwagon.

And we are still blaming Bush? Why not blame Clinton for the housing bubble or Reagan for the "Obama phones"? There are always going to be issues in past administrations that haunt present ones. A candidate campaigns on making things right, not constantly blaming his or her predecessor.

Obama is never to blame. Its always the fault of Bush, the Tea Party, or Fox News.

At least the unions are finally realizing the predicament we are in.

My union is crying about it. They are on their hands and knees begging the company to keep insuring us and don't opt to pay the penalty. Paying the penalty would save them thousands per employee since our company is so large. While I am upset about it, I can't blame the company. The union walked hand in hand with Obama on this Obamacare. They told us to vote for him & Obamacare will be great for everyone! Now the union is passing out stickers for us to wear telling the company to save our insurance? How stupid do we look? I refused to wear it. I told the union we might as well all walk around with dunce caps on and tell the company we are stupid and don't know what we are doing. Could you help us from destroying ourselves????? This country is on a huge stupidity upswing. I don't understand it.........but it happening!!!

When are you fools going to stop drinking the Kool-Aid? You call me a liar but it turns out that you are once again an ignorant uneducated fool. Read this article. Im getting tired of educating you dummies. No one understands whats in Obamacare. Pelosi said we have to pass it to see whats in it! Remember that stupid comment? Companies have the option of paying a penalty instead of insuring their employee's. Unions included. Ken Hall is from the IBT negotiating our contract right now. The unions supported this and got tricked just like the rest of you idiots that support Obama!

Just send me an apology. That's good enough!

One way for employers to spare themselves the penalty and reduce their costs is to offer medical savings accounts. This way, the employer is offering "insurance" but they don't have to pay the steep rates for premiums. In the meantime, any employee still receiving health benefits will have to pay the " Cadillac plan" penalty. This affects policies with premiums over $27,500 as of 2018. Most current policies are somewhere in the $20k range now. Policiy rates have been increasing at double digit rates for the past 20 some odd years if it continues, almost all rates will be over the "Cadillac plan" threshold.

Did you actually read and comprehend the article you linked? I don't think so. You just went straight for the headline that supports your lame argument. The unions are concerned about not getting federal subsidies for their lower paid membership. It's a legitimate concern. That doesn't mean they are all now against Obama's health care plan. When are you going to stop being a reactionary moron and contribute something productive to these forums? Obama care actually helps people like you. Your are not wealthy. You are obviously not too bright. You don't work very much as evident by how often you post on Topix. Private health insurance does not want you. Obama care makes sure that unfortunates like yourself can get coverage. You should be thankful.

Your refusal to comprehend the facts you read in this article is not surprising. The executive board members in the article represent the highest paid teamsters in the nation. I have only been a member for 25yrs! The UPS contract has a tentative agreement as of yesterday. 144,000 members are losing their 100% coverage from the company, including no annual deductibles, no co-pays, personal disability insurance, and life insurance for the entire family.

They are now going to covered through the union because the company needed an out due to Obamacare. The Union insurance is not even close to as good as what the company supplied the employee's with. The union insurance has NONE of the extra perks I mentioned. They also have annual deductibles and co-pays on prescriptions and doctors visits. A HUGE downgrade for the members.

Ironically, yesterday we all received a letter in the mail from the teamsters informing us the teamsters funds are in the RED. How are they going to have the financial ability to continue insuring the additional 144,000 members? I don't think they will be able to for long. This is the Obamacare stradegy. To force everyone on a one payer government program. UPS members I spoke with yesterday are pissed. This Obamacare is a train wreck. The poorer you are are, the more its going to hurt!

You "LOW INFORMATION CITIZENS" are destroying this country with your stupidity. Please wake up!

Duh ... You can't argue with idiots. They will drag you down to their level and beat you buy experience. The Obama "sheep" will never see the truth; they can't handle it. Their M.O. is to bring up Bush when he wasn't the topic of conversation.
