Son, there are those who today cheer our collapse, and those who blindly and purely ignorantly voted unknowingly to support this collapse. Have no doubt that gloom will take place shortly. But remembr and trust that truth shall always ovecome, it always has, and always will. The smart alecs out here feel they are in their hey day. What they do not or cannot see, is the silent strength of true Americans. Principaled, and patriotic...with God on our side, who in their right mind could be against us? We shall overcome all they have put before us, for God, Country, and our childrens future. Semper Fi my friend, Semper Fi. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. Trust the truth, have faith, be brave...

I was reading how in the wake of the election, petitions for peaceful secession are being circulated in twenty states. This led me to ponder why it is that those who are so quick to wrap themselves in the flag, and give such big play to their ersatz patriotism actually hate the United States enough that they would engage in such sedition as to petition for secession. I had to conclude that they simply are not Americans.

I can't get too worried about the effect of these self-indulgent fantasies of the right wing though, because the precedent for dealing with these matters was set in the 1860's.

Oh, by the way you crazy kids on the right. Do you remember how you've been puling about how Obama is standing in the way of oil production? It turns out that with current trends extended into the future, the United States will become the top producer of petroleum in the world by the year 2020. Yes, that includes Saudi Arabia.

I guess the Fox and Friends playmates where you guys go to worship were just leading you down the garden path, or maybe it's that you were eagerly chasing them down that path. I wonder what other skeevy nonsense they may have been filling your head with. Oh yeah, I guess it was all of it.

Here is yet another factual explaination of Obama lies & cover ups...
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000142412788...

Facts are facts... WSJ tells it like it is, sadly. The election is simply evidence of how many people Obama kept uninformed. Politics before country. Look at all the Useful Idiots that were fooled by voting him back in. Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do (comes to mind).

Here is another fact for you. You must have heard of the "fiscal cliff", or more accurately, sequestration, that is looming on January 1, 2013. The CBO says that if we reach that state of affairs, it will push the country back into recession.

Sequestration, if nothing is done to change it, will result in $1.2 trillion in spending cuts, and and additional $950 billion in revenue due to the end of the Bush tax cuts over ten years. The grand bargain that is supposed to be the solution would result in $3 trillion in spending cuts, exempting the pentagon, and one trillion in increased revenues, supposedly from "tax reform" (they mean taking away your deductions).

Basically, the grand bargain is a way to extract $4 trillion from what is left of the middle class and an expanding lower class, yet we are to believe that this will not cause a fall back into recession. That sort of nonsense is not likely to be plausible to even you, Neighbor.

My recommendation would be to take our chances with sequestration.

Bill Clinton says Democratic presidents top Republican presidents in job creation

Former President Bill Clinton addresses the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C.

Are Democratic presidents better than Republican presidents at job creation? Former President Bill Clinton said so -- forcefully -- in his speech to the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte.

"Since 1961, for 52 years now, the Republicans have held the White House 28 years, the Democrats 24," Clinton said. "In those 52 years, our private economy has produced 66 million private-sector jobs. So what's the jobs score? Republicans 24 million, Democrats 42 (million)." In the packed convention hall, it was one of the night’s biggest applause lines.

Blogs? Now there's a reliable source! <lol

Also: John... If you read the WSJ article I posted, we are in a recession already. Obama has just been covering up the numbers for pre-election protection. Damn shame... We are sinking as I think you agree. Can't blame it all on Bush either, with Obama having added >$1T a year. Really makes no difference right now. Votes seem to want the downward trend to continue. Me? I am so frustrated, I say bring it on, let's crash & burn. The takers will move, die off, or become a maker, and the makers will re-build.

Well, you're right, I can't blame it on Bush anymore, although there are some vestiges of his profligacy still dangling from our necks. I can, and do, however, blame it on traitors like Grover Norquist, Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Eric Cantor, Karl Rove, Goldman Sachs, J.P.Morgan Chase, Bank of America, Citigroup, Big Oil and the fascist quintumverate of the Supreme Court. Of course there are others who by commission or by lending support can share in the blame, but there is limited space here in which to list them.

Sharkey in the Darkey: What was the point of that post? Smirk on my face? Huh? <lol What you're moving to has nothing to do with the WSJ facts I posted. Are you trying to say those voter totals represent support for the decline of America? Or are you as upset as I am with 9M people not voting compared to 08? You're losing me kid...
