Careful what you wish for. It's not the fall that kills you, it's when you hit the bottom that does it. Let's pray that our so called leaders quit fleecing us for their own gain and actually put the interests of the country first for a change.

I agree, but these ignorant democrats that want to attack the rich & successful and look to Obama to carry out their mission need to get it stuck in their rear end. Let them cover the spending and see how they like it! LOL!

Not all. There are many solid republicans in the house. We will see who is solid when they vote! Only what 8 or 9 in the senate? Poor showing in the senate. All we can do is not vote for the traders?

I'm disappointed they buckled. They are not looking out for the best interest of the country and future generations. This country is in big trouble. You should be embarrassed for supporting the destruction of this country for future generations.

I told you on 12-6-12 in post 26 of the sad day thread that we would not go over the fiscal cliff. And it all reality it has been avoided.
Professor and Neighbor you may now continue with your mental masturbation. Keep talking to yourselves, keep telling yourselves your insane BS. Professor must have went limp when he did not get to see people "suffer" and "feel pain". Keep looking around for people living in their cars, Professor and you can chuckle to yourself and say, Ah Ha an Obama supporter.
At least Uni gets the fact that both parties are thieves and in it for themselves. You guys talk about sheep. Thats exactly what Neighbor and Professor are for the Republicans. We all need to demand more. Adios again.

You are too easily fooled my friend. I know all you have are personal attacks as your defense, but recognize that Professor is only trying to educate you. Don't shoot the messenger.

First out your taxes are still going up. Payroll taxes. The business and wealthy being taxed will pass that cost onto you. They won't just absorb it. You are what's known as a "LIV" Low Information Voter!

Superb series of posts, Professor. Those who didn't vote in November and the dumb bastards who voted the wrong way will be shocked when they see how much just got chomped out of their paychecks.

Even worse, the self-serving morons in Washington didn't do one iota to restore fiscal sanity in the country. Come to think of it, the dipshits in Springfield haven't, either.

The cliff hasn't been reached and the bottom economic bottom hasn't been met. Matters will get far more dire.

Seems as if being a democratic republic has stopped working.

It's not an attack. It's not something that can be explained to someone who is ignorant and too lazy to read a book. The merits of a progressive income tax system are well documented. Yes, my calling you dumb is a personal attack. I've little patience for your silly nonsense.

Wow that was an intelligent response.(Not). I was expecting the usual hollow blanket statements. You really tipped your hand to that one. Do anyone else have an intelligent answer to my query?

To You R Dumber
Please note that in in previous posts the exact word 'attack' was used. Your statement about the progressive income tax offer no resolution to my question. Your claiming to make the attack personal doesnt matter in any way, as your maturaity and intellect obviously have no impact. The good news for you is that you got a little popualr because I texted some friends and told them to check out your post, good for laughs.
