Is this board going to give raises to certain board members? I believe there are some people that deserve one,but ms.Gibson is over paid for what she does. But just what is it she does? Ialso think we really need a mayor that can do the job he was voted for. Manhattan is still a small town. We don't need an over paid administer. exactly what has she done for our town? This mayor is tax crazy .He has brought nothing to manhattan, and has run those off that were interested in our town with his demands. We need a new mayor who will work for the peole and what's best for our town and not his pocket.

Yes we do need a new Mayor and a changing of the guard. Make sure you announce loud and clear to big Larry Walsh that change is coming. He may not like the notion. After all, in his mind it's his town to exploit.

What will he be inspecting? Not like many new homes are being built. That whole place needs a good house cleaning.

But if you don't vote for the alternative, nothing will happen because there is so much endowment owed between the existing players.

The village can use a bilding inspector more than a full time planner. This is an over head expense. about 80 g's a year.
Bibson has ran people off from there jobs. This is what a 140 g's does for ya. 90 g's for a polce chief. What does he do to draw that kind of money? NOTHING Manhattan needs a good cleaning. Wake up Village Board.

the Village Board is the problem too. Scare-dee cats of Borgo and Gibson. The whole show needs a revamping. Nobody is buying tickets to the Borgo Follies anymore. And they sure as hell won't be buying tickets to Doyle's juggling act atop a pole, either.

I agree that there are to many high end salaries. But what is there to Plan ,thats not on the board already or approved. 75,000 for a Planner for new Buisnees, now there's a good one. 90,000 for a police chief that sits in the village hall all day. For what. Thats about a 165,000 savings there. Fix roads with this money or put up storage for equipment, buy more equipment thats needed.Building inspector was put part time a year or so, building slowed down. Why wasn't the planner sized down aswell. I don't know you to vote for in April. Current board say the need a new Mayor, the current Mayor won't change anything. Why do we need Board members if The Mayor and Gibson run everything. Time to change and hope for the best.Manhattan needs a new leader. NOW
