I am aware that bullying is a massive issue at this school and the faculty ignores it repeatly. children have been ran out of this school because of bullies. from the rumors of sexual and physical abuse, Im not sure if the teachers or the students are the bullies
Bullies don't do their bullying in front of the teachers. They also don't generally do it during class time!. Also, if the bullied child does not speak up and tell someone, it often goes unreported. As a teacher, I can't tell you how many students I have seen leave a school and it's only at that time that the teachers were informed that this child was being bullied. Much of the bullying these days is done on the internet or through texting. That doesn't happen during school. As a former St. Ray's teacher, I can tell you that we definitely dealt with the bullies at that school as did the administration! Don't listen to what you "hear" unless you know for sure.

I stopped being Catholic long ago, after I figured ceding my soul, conscience, and mentality to an imperious group of black cloaked nuns and male dominatrices was insane, and that such a mandatory, nay, "God-commanded" allegiance was, at the very least, abusive for innocent children. The very worst seems to be true, which is more than bearing out any of my fears.

No, you're clearly not "intimedated" because you post on anonymous websites and fail to address your complains in public like a grown up.
If you like to hide behind the curtain, so to speak, why don't you voice your terrible concerns in a confessional? The priests won't know you and you can disk out all of the inforamtion you supposedly know.
When someone speaks up against these people openly, they get punsished and not listened to. They are not acting in any way Catholic, when they lie to people and intimidate them.
The intimidation is there, believe me.

The Chicago Tribune just reported that the percentage of pedophile priests has dropped in the last few decades. Keep up the good work, Diocese of Joliet!

It is happening again. 3 more teachers will not be back next year. During the 3 year reign of this current administration nearly 30 people have either been forced out, left or terminated. When a typical Catholic Grade School has a turn over of less than 1.5 teachers per year this one has overachieved in removing people. It is interesting how teachers could be offered a contract to return one week and then released the next and told they are toxic. It is unbelievable that nearly 75% of the staff could be considered toxic and had to be removed, and yet scores and enrollment are dropping. I think the identification of toxic people is wrong.

Once again the summer has brought about change to St. Ray's. 75% of the 4th and 5th Teacher staff will not return this fall. 8 Families have pulled out of the school because of this Administration. Every complaint to the Joliet Diocese is rejected stating it is an internal affair.

To those who choose to remain best of luck. As other private - Catholic schools have a stable teacher staff St. Rays continues to lead the way with over 27 teachers/faculty turn over in less than 3 summers.

New school year has started. Who wants to take a guess on how many teachers will NOT return next year?
Average for this administration is 5 teachers per year.

What is your guess?

If Rays is such a great place why are their Sunday collections down week after week.

Could the Money Changers times finally be up?

St. Rays will continue to decline as long as Brad remains in charge. His ego is to big to allow him to admit he made a mistake in 2009 and hired someone who had no experience, no leadership skills, and no understanding of the position at hand. She thought she could sit in her little office and keep the door close. But has happened - Great Teachers have left (about 4 to 5 a year), and Support Staff have been released (another 2-3 year). If you disagree with them then you are LABELED a cancer and not a team player. This will continue until change is made.
Elephant in the room

So 2014-2015 brings yet again staff changes. Even the young ones are leaving St. Rays. Is it the private school system itself, meaning they can't compete with public school salaries, or is it the elephant in the room...administration? Or is it the fact that teachers who are being hired are not qualified for the positions they are being hired for? There are Teachers who do not hold the proper certificates for their subject matter/position, or are getting their qualifications while they teach. How is this beneficial for the students? The upstairs intermediate grades have three new teachers for a second year in a row. The jr high has been moved around again. A new asst principal with no experience. Where is the consistency? Every school has some attrition each year, it just seems odd that Rays has so much every year. That isn't normal. I wonder when the elephant in the room is going to be called out and held accountable.

Is it true that Brad has requested a transfer but it was declined. Only to be told to clean up his mess.
