Why in hell are or schools open today? This flooding is the worst I have seen out here in 15+ years. We are forecasted to get 2-3" more to come. Rural roads flooded out, some completely washed out, in town roads flooded, Smith road all around the Jr High flooded/closed. I'm sure the school buses had to reroute around the impassable roads. The traffic jam trying to get in and out of the Jr High was ridiculous! We closed the schools this year because we were supposed to get a snowstorm, we already have confirmed flooding with more to come!

It's been way worse in the past.
When you can use Citgo gas station's lot for a boat ramp and the RT 52 bridge washes away, then were at flood stage. Happen'd twice in the past 42 years.

Quit your whining. Get your kids to school and go to work like the rest of us. Last year everyone complained we had no rain, now we get rain and everyone is complaining its too much (maybe a little!). Relax and enjoy life. The rain will stop, the sun will come out and life will go on! Two more days until the weekend.

I asked the bus driver how the roads were when he dropped off my son, he said the roads were wet, but nothing bad enough to cancel school. Some high water but nothing that was serious. I worked the night shift last night and managed fine, and the wife made it to work and home today.

I suppose you are use to bent over partners, as in farm animals.
