They went 0-9 last year! Now common sense tells me they should win at least one game but remember this is RHS we are talking about. No talent and Kuna couldn't find his ass with directions. Long miserable season ahead,

the problem is not the Talent, its the coaching...

What specifically don't you like about the coaching? Other than the obvious 0-9 record last year?

one of the things i dont like is that he plays kids who have not been at practice but are good athletes while others who bust their butts year round get to sit on the bench, he does not help/promote the not so good athletes. he is arrogant and when questioned by a parent he punishes the kid...he has the same playbook since he got here, his play calling is transparent to every other team, he does not switch up anything..what he says goes,..Imbordino would be a much better Head Coach and the kids would learn a lot more from him, and maybe win a game...spartan fan, i dont mind loosing if the coach would encourage ALL the players and work with EVERYONE but 0-9 last season and the number of kids who want to play for him is declining every year should be a red flag. look at the numbers at other schools..i think its time for a change from the athletic director down to the coach so we can get the kids motivated again and see at least one win. That would boost the morale..but we will see, couple more weeks until the first game

all of my boys did and they were not on the bench but had ample play time during their 4 years there. this is what i, parent, observed during every single game.

11 years since the split with bolingbrook. 4 head coaches, 1 winning season (kuna), no playoffs. Do you think its really the coaching? Maybe there was just a lack of athletes in the school since the bolingbrook split.

As for the play calling of Kuna:
I don't think you should change your playbook every year, sounds like that would be confusing for a kid to learn a new playbook every year.

From 2009-2010 Kuna's offense was ranked #1 in the area averaging almost 40pts a game. So the playbook works, I guess the questions is where are the athletes they once had a few years ago?

I guess I'm just too big of fan not to support the Spartans. There time will come... in 2013! When they are in the position to make the playoffs this year and everyone will jump on the ban wagon, we will graciously accept the jump on!

Point/ counter point... It's getting hot in this kitchen. 1 winning season in 11 years can't be all Kuna's fault I guess.

are you talking about the 2 non conference wins/games ? dont get me wrong..i am a huge supporter of the Spartans/kids cause thats our Team, and i am not a bandwagon jumper..i live in this town and thats who i support but the coaching sucks...
Blaming the Bolingbrook split is not an excuse. BBK Athletes come from a much more structured/sucessful youth program thats where they were coached and get their knowledge.

Why do Bolingbrook and Romeoville still even play in football? Don't the brook have like 4 times the enrollment? Whose bright idea is that game? Aren't athletic directors supposed to schedule winnable non con games?

In 2009 the spartan had a record of 5-4. Not enough playoff points to get in the playoffs.

So is it the youth league or the high school coaching? and if what you are saying is correct, that the youth leagues in other towns are more structured/successful, why are you blaming the high school coaches?

Face it, Mexicans do not play football and the majority of the student body is Mexican. If stealing cars, mowing lawns and blacktopping driveways were a sport, your school would go to State every year.

They will go 3-6 this year. They will beat Plainfield central, minooka, and Plainfield south. Lose to hinsdale south, bhs, north, Oswego, and Oswego east.
