Honestly, I am only curious.....In 2008, say your only choices to vote for POTUS were Obama and Ralph Nader, which would you of voted for and why? Please don't say neither as it would be disappointing to know that as sticklers for the constitution that you wouldn't participate in your right as a U.S. Citizen to vote. To be honest, I liked Ralph Nader and I voted for him and so I'm just curious if there was no Republican candidate if supporters of the Tea Party would of voted for him. If you would NOT of, please tell me why. Thank you.
I don't support any particular party. I support individual candidates. I do support many Tea Party and republican candidates. When the only two presidential candidates are Obama or Nader........I would shoot myself. Give me liberty or give me death type of situation.

As every year ..your choices are over after the primary that are fixed by BS press coverage and ommission of good candidates from debates. Welcome to America where everything they taught you in civics class is fiction.

I have a basic answer curious. Of course both candidates could be questionable like any candidate that runs for this position but Ralph Nader has Obama beaten buy a long shot. His record of accomplishments are huge. He has a record of achievements and Obama has a record of Nothing. Nader has a view that has made differences in automotive, environmental, very well educated, ex military service. When it comes to doing what's right and sacrificing for his country he has the proof. Obama has none of this. His record is consists of one lie after another. Doubling national debt, one scandle after another, the list of failures is too long. This question is a clear and easy one.

Ralph Nader has always been portrayed as a crack pot. Obama is half a cracker. Too much of a stretch?

There is a difference between being a Republican and being a republican. One is a political party co-opted by big government neocons and war hawks. The other believes in a limited federal government supported by strong local governments. I am a firm believer in republicanism.

Obama hasnít met a big government program he didnít like. Nader in his early days seems to follow Obamaís ideology of today, particularly environmental concerns with his stance against nuclear energy. Nader also fails in my view to understand how free trade is supposed to work. His focus is more on the consumer, which there is nothing wrong with, it is the fact that we live in a global marketplace now and Naderís views on this issue are stagnant. Naderís current association with a number of groups today intrigues me. The beliefs of some of those groups are in alignment with my beliefs,(unless Americaís security is directly affected) we should not be involved in the affairs of other nations. However some of these groups have some very radical left ideologues and those ideologues scare me. We have them in office now and you can see what a disaster of the last six years it has been.

So who would I have voted for in 2008? I would have voted for neither and sought a constitutionalist, since the choices were Nader or Obama, I would have voted for Nader. At the time there were too many unknowns about Obama. His handlers with a complicit media buried and kept buried Obamaís ideology. Too many people became enamored with the man based on his charisma and not on the issues. There were clues dropped throughout the campaign,(Talking about abortion being above his pay grade, bitter clingers, and not disavowing the racist Rev. White). Obamaís record as a state senator and US Senator were both unremarkable as were his accomplishments before he was elected. Nader had a track record and people knew who he was and the Iím sure was a darling of the media after Unsafe at any Speed came out, so at least the voters would have known what the man was about unlike what we got with Obama.

Ok I'll bite since you most likely are the same person extolling the the virtues of the Venus Project. What is your definition of socialism, and please show me a country that has tried it and has low taxes and a low cost of living.

Liberalism is the advancement of European socialism in America. It's the supporters of this movement that don't have a clue what they are wishing for. I understand it clearly and reject it.

It's a failed economic and social engineering ideology. Capitalism is proven to provide the most for the most. Freedom, Liberty, and Capitalism is why America is where the world runs too. If we fall to socialism there is no where left to run too.
