I have seen some of the single people where i work, bring in their garbage & use the company dumpster. Money is so tight. Why is it for some, like seniors who might have 1 bag a week, the same for a family like mine- 5 cans? It's becoming very common.

I think it depends on the size of your garbage can. We pay around $35 for 3 months which I don't think is a lot. Water on the other hand is way too much.

I wonder if they could swing by WalMart and pick up all the shoppers and what they bought. They could funnel it all into the White Castle hamburger maker and have some extra patties to feed the lowlifes that frequent that whole complex.

You are spot on! I agree on both your comments about the garbage and the HIGH, HIGH water costs.

NuWay Disposal manages the village portion of NL Towship. It is a pay by use program. You choose the size of your waste bin and pay for that size. You are allowed one larger item each month or buy additional waste tags at $1.00 or $1.50 each to place on additional boxes, bags or items you may want to pick up. There is a recycling bin you can also get for an additional fee. It's a pretty reasonable program compared to other communities. They also have yard waste containers if you want instead of bags that need yard waste tags, and they have free leaf pick up for 2 weeks in April and 4 weeks in the fall. As far as the water goes, I think we are below average at cost for Lake Water. Not cheap, but no crazy high. Some towns have the same price but much poorer quality.
Is it

I don't think it's 100% lake water. I think it's a 50/50 mix lake and well.

Water is about $70 a month. More in the summer. 4 ppl. Small lot, no pool. Water tastes like ugh! We buy bottled water for about $3 a week. When it really rained hard last year, the street sewer overflowed. They gave us notice the H2O would be shut off for a few hours. When it came back on, 1/2 dirt 1/2 water of some source. Wanted to puke from the sight.

THANKS for the input, just trying to compare with manhattan's 24.00/month for disposal. but they also have a 8.00 cap improvement charge which who knows wghat thats for, and an additional about 10.00 month extra on top of the usual water, so its about 110-115 month for 4 people ,sewer/water/trash

NuWay provides the recyling toter and adds $2.65 to the water bill. It's just about $150.00/year for trash service from NuWay, and you can get a lawn/leaf bin for an additional $150.00 a year that can be used 4/1 through 8/1.

Using someone else's dumpster is illegal and if caught will be a substantial fine. These people better be careful. I know someone that had this happen to them. Just fyi

I think he know this. They are really watching every penny and need the $18-$20. It looks as if they are just cleaning their car out. Some of the ppl leave bags of clothes & stuff by his car. He has a few kids. Kinda sad.
