With one day left before the election, I know the way it is supposed to go. I am supposed to say whatever I can to get your votes. I am supposed to take down my opponents and question their integrity. I am supposed to do and say anything I can to win your vote. I have not done that in my campaign, and I will not do it now.
In this election there are three men running; Mr. Adrieansen, Mr. Doyle, and myself. I have stood next to these men and faced the community. While we disagree on some issues we all agree this town needs a change and needs to get out from under the heels of its current dictator. There is not a doubt in my mind that any one of us three will make a great mayor in our own way.
This is where I should ask for your vote. Do not get me wrong; I want your vote, but more importantly I just want you to vote. This town needs you to, this town needs a change. This town needs you to say you will not take any more of its current tyrant or his henchmen.
If your vote goes for me I will do all I can to make you proud of your choice, but please I beg you all just go out and vote. Thank you .

Why did you even run Don? That is the dumbest thing you could say right before the election. I hope you know that you would have done more good just staying out of the election. All three of you are going to cancel each other out and Borgo is going to walk right in. What you don't realize is he has a set group of people that vote for him no matter what. U take 30 votes and Mike takes 100 that is 130 you are taking away from Doyle not Borgo. I realize that you may not understand this but after the election you will see what Jamie loses by and I bet if you add up the totals between you and Mike you will see what I am talking about. Again why run if you are going to say stupid #hit like that. Either you are in it to win it or you just wasted everyones time saying its about the town and the people need to take back the town.. Its a bunch of crap. Stuff needs to be improved thats the problem. There have been years and years of nothing being done in this town. Now stuff starts to get done and everyone complains that things are being done. What a joke.. The whole town is turning into a giant joke.

Actually i am voting for Mike and i wouldn't have voted if he wasn't running because i would not choose between the guy who didn't campaign at all or the two douches. Now for the people that can't decide between Mike and Jamie, keep in mind, if you vote for Mike, you will guarantee to get both of them. Mike as Mayor and Jamie as his trustee. There is NO guarantee that Mike will be a trustee if Jamie wins. Doyle has many people in mind for that trustee spot and Mike never said he would accept it. Vote for Mike Adrieansen for a clean slate and to get the community involved with what is happening around our town.

Only thing is, Mike has zero experience. What has he done to prove that he is vested and involved in the community? He would have been better off running for trustee and learning. I do admire Don Hunt for stepping up and at least trying to make a change for the better. I am ashamed to admit I have never been to a village board meeting. I will start going and voicing my concerns. That is another way we can all make a change. Let the elected officials know we are watching and are concerned with what is going on. Doyle will get my vote.

Good luck voicing your concerns if Borgo gets in. You have a five minute limit and you fill out a card saying what you want to talk about. If he does not want to "go into it" times up. This is done at the beginning of the meeting. I would rather have the chance at the end of the meeting so you can discuss what was done during the meeting.

All of Mike's ideas have been used before and have been discontinued for one reason or another. The Citizens Committee was dropped because Borgo and Gibson got sick of listening to "the people" that didn't see their vision. The later hours for village hall were inconvenient for Gibson, even though she is paid $144 grand a year. These are all things Doyle had in place during his administration and were removed by Borgo. So, no new ideas from Mike. When it comes to the dog park.... I think that should be addressed by Park District, not the Mayor.

Unfortunately, these are the only ideas this guy has brought to the table. Are you kidding me? You could honestly vote for him.
If these are the reasons one would vote for Mike, then I would suggest voting for Doyle because he has already done them and has experience in getting grants, businesses, and running a village. Mike has never been a Trustee. He has never been involved in the village, period. He works for his father's auto body shop. He has no idea what he is doing!!! And we are going to give him the keys to the village? This is a joke right? Vote Doyle.

first off those aren't facts. They are your opinion. Secondly you have repeated this opinion in every thread .Third when doyle was mayor he didn't know what he was doing , so whats the difference?
If thats how you reason , fine. Good luck with that.

Someone in the Doyle family declared their clan to be "pillars of the community". Only a concensous should determine that and only the collective vote should decide the mayor. You are just being a spin artist. Spinning a story around untrue folklore. Nothing more.

Went a few hours ago only 60 people had voted at that point. Doesn't look like a good turnout.

141 when I voted just a bit ago. The people may have a bit of disinclination. Wonder why? No certainty of good choices.
