Does anyone know of a neighborhood or houses in New Lenox Area that has good outdoor Christmas decorations? My kids are really into them this year and have seen them all in our neighborhood.

Moderator, can we change the name of this post to "holiday" instead of christmas? I am offended by the word christmas.

I know my father doesn't know what topix is and if you are unaware of who I am, my father is Santa who happens to live in Manhattan and your name offends me because you are not Santa.

Jesus is not the "reason for the season" as some say. Christmas actually evolved through a pagan holiday celebrating the winter solstice. Most theologians agree that Jesus's birthday was in either August of September. Maybe we should be having BBQ's instead.=) On a serious note though, let people celebrate the season as they see fit. I personally celebrate the magic of the holiday with being kinder, reflecting on all of the blessings I have in my life such as my family. I respect everyone's version of the holiday, but I will always say this...MERRY CHRISTMAS!
