Guess what that's everywhere! Welcome to the great housing bubble of the United States. Thanks for noticing what everyone has know for the past few years. Housing everywhere is down.

Understood and agree, however someone was trying to claim some small boom in the residential market in romeoville.

The article had nothing to do with prices just sales numbers which are up throughout the area. Romeoville is up more than the area as a whole. Sales must increase like this before you will see price stabilization. This is a positive sign but it will take some time for the national market to fully return.
