The Dow soared over 300 points today. Oil has plunged since Obama's election. Had a bunch of fools wishing the worst on everyone.

Four More? Listening to the mainstream press again huh? Go check every January open market figures for (say) the last 10 years. You will discover that across history a rise in the market takes place. This year was pretty much an average number. Now don't get me wrong, I am happy it raised. But "soared" it did not in comparison to history on the January open. <Just schooling ya Four More, I have to keep you on your toes.

I do listen to mainstream press. Most sane people do. FOX news is simply a conservative platform. I have to laugh when they use the term "Fair and Balanced". During the Presidential election, I heard their main anchor Brett Baier twice refer to "we" when he was speaking about Romney. Had anyone in the mainstream press done that they would have been chastised and rightfully so.

Let every person make their own judgements based on what they see, not what they hear on this board, TV, Radio or the internet.

As the old saying goes, "Don't believe anything you hear, and only half of what you see."

You cite Brett as a Conservative view, yet you fail o cite CNN & Maddow & Olberman as Liberal views. Lots of spin in the Mainstream for sure. It is hard to find the "truth" in any news programs these days.

Why don't you check what the dow has done each year for the last 10.I am not a day trader though 24% is one massive rally for one day.

Here is your homework.

How much was the Dow up for W's eight years in office?

How much is the Dow up under Obama?

Thee answer should be easy.

If you do a good job there is a fruit cup waiting for you.

I'm sure you will avoid giving an answer.Prove me wrong, you haven't yet.

No doubt Maddow & Olberman are liberals. I don't think their show or network uses the terminology "Fair and Balanced".

There are also differences between Anchors and Commentators and their function within the network.

None of Obama's plans are for economic growth. They are for quite the opposite. The unemployment numbers are out. Terrible! No news on them? 500, 000 new claims! Obama's policies do two things. Grow government and the welfare state. That's it! The country didn't vote for economic growth. I don't understand why you keep waiting for it to magically begin "Four More"?

It's the calm before the storm. Oil price down no demand. Mild winter to date and no one traveling because fear of spending. Look around vacation packs and cruises dirt cheap.
Wait till ppl realize what tax increase cost weekly. Lots expendable income gone. Economy soon in dumper.

Did you vote for economic growth when you voted for Bush? Enough said!I guess we can only look to your outlandish election claims. You made Howard Dean appear sane with your"We got Ohio,Michigan.... It's a revolution". Whenever I am having a really bad day,I think of of the old Professor making his calls. It brightens the soul.

Professor? You & I, and others, get the news from many sites & programs every day. We pay close attention to what has happened, and what's being pulled off on Americans. We get frustrated and put it out here. These folks who complain about us are uninformed, clueless, supporters of America's destruction, or the type that simply turn their lazy heads away. Their complaints on us should be considered traitorious, considering what continues under Obama, yet they prefer to be good little people and just accept the damage occuring on America. They vote too. Any wonder how this country got to where we are at?

Where did you get your 500,000 number. Numbers came out today and they show 150k new jobs even with the drag of Sandy.
You are really childish wishing harm and pain on others. You lost the election, you got creamed, take it like a man and move on.

DesPlaines, fess up to everyone. You are angry at me because I have beaten you in every debate we have had bar none. Sent you home crying like a school girl dozens of times too. It's not that you are a fool, it's just that everything you present is foolish. So come on, let bygones be bygones, and be my friend in 2013 little guy?

I'm curious. Do you feel you have beaten me in every debate we have had?
