Just came across this today. I'm a little behind on the news. It is about time they raid that dirty diamond trailer court!!! Drugs are about all it's known for. I feel sorry for the residence that feel stuck there and have no way to get out because their homes are there and it is almost impossible to sell. The poor children that are being raised in there. I hope the parents are keeping an extra close eye on them and an even closer eye on their neighbors.

Diamond's trailer park has been going downhill for the last few years now and the city doesn;t do anything about it. There is a lady that used to be an alderwoman or whatever that did pay attention to the court. She even had the workers clean the ditch in the back along the road to help stop flooding but I think she left town. Don't count on the Mayor to visit us either because he is a jerk. When you go to the hall now it's like homeland security tool over with all the entrances and security windows, that should tell you how they must piss us all off. Or it's a way the Mayor can keep his wife out of the office when his girlfriend is there. There are 3 drug houses on two different streets out here that I can watch the cars in and out all the time.

I believe we need a community watch, some people who are tired of this kind of activity, Children who grow up with drugs in their lives, stand a greater chance on becoming users or dealers them self. IF YOU SEE SOMETHING THAT GIVES YOU JUSTIFICATION TO CONTACT THE POLICE, THEN YOU SHOULD! You con't alway have to call 911, call the non-emergency number. Call them and give them the license plate numbers and make of vehicle. They may not come out right away, but with the information your giving them they will know who's been there and where they live.
Lets work together can clean this village.

HOW ABOUT CALLING CRIME STOPPERS? THEY SHOULD BE MORE RECEPTIVE TO YOUR INFORMATION. IF YOU SEE CONSTANT ACTIVITY AT A RESIDENCE REPORT IT. SOMETIMES I THINK THE POLICE WATCH THE SMALL DEALERS AND LET THEM BE IN HOPES OF BEING LED TO THE BIG GUYS. THE PROBLEM WITH THAT IS MORE AND MORE PEOPLE ARE BECOMING ADDICTS IN THE MEAN TIME. AND PROBOBLY FOR THE MOST PART KIDS.

I have tried those avenues in the past only to have the responding officer talk to the individuals and tell them well the guy over there called (pointing to my house). This was in the summer and the windows were open so I could hear it myself. From that point on I decided that I couldn't risk my own safety for a police tip. I am retired and live alone in the park. I just want it to be a safe place if my grandchildren come over.

I thought you could remain anonymous through crime stoppers. I would be afraid if they pointed me out as well. I'm sorry to hear that happened to you. You do deserve a safe place for your grandchildren to visit and a safe place for yourself to live. Let's just hope that the bust that recently happened leads them to more and they clean the park up for those who have legitimate homes there. Good luck and I'll keep you in my prayers.

What your doing is a good thing, Don't stop calling. Fight your your rights to be safe, if enough people fight and stand up to these drug dealers, they'll end up taking their business some place else. If the police would make there drive through like they should, they would be more visible, and the dealers would move out.

WE NEED A POLICE DEPARTMENT RIGHT HERE IN DIAMOND,
TAKE SOME OF THE MONEY GOING TO THE CC SCHOOLS AND CREATE US A POLICE DEPARTMENT. Hoping on the County to be here in time is not good enough, and may even be to late to do any good. County is busy enough taking care of the County. Diamond has enough going on to keep the force busy. Even if all they do is drive around.
