I called the village hall 2 years ago on this. And as you see nothing got done.
Yes this is very stupid when the tracks dead end. It's at night, you would think they could use flash light signal.
Been their done that

Were the tracks there before you moved in? Probably should have moved somewhere else.

And I'm sure you'll be the first to bitch, moan, and complain when you get labeled by a silent train.

Stop crying or I'll stop by and give you the old shoe to the gift bag.

I don't ever recall that happening?
The trains have been switching hear since the start of the town. Used to serve the Grain elevator, Lumber, and auto back in the day now it's just for Arrow Press.
The engineer is just being a ASS. Wants to make sure to piss off all the resident's. Train moves back and fourth a whole 5 mph. Always has. If somebody gets hit by a train moving a whole 5 mph, they have got to be a whole lotta special. LMAO

If you bought a house by tracks, deal with it. As if you didn't know it wouldn't be noisy living by tracks. Anything to cry about in this town!

There was nobody killed on the tracks. They haven't been used for a long time up until Metra came to town.
