Jack: And this is my serious voice. Please find yourself a place to go and recieve treatment for all this anger you feel toward your fellow armed citizens. For we will carry the burden and protect you from all the is not right outside the Ivory Tower you apparently live in. Perhaps a nice "resort" would do....
You need to get some help for yourself. If more guns actually kept you safer you wouldn't need to keep buying more and more. You are part of the problem as well as those who would want all guns banned.

Doc, Please explian to my, so someone of my itellect can properly digest it, as to how responsible ownership of weapons anyway contributes to, "The Problem." The problem, as I see it is threefold. 1. Many male minority children growing up in a single mother home with no guidence and lack of a moral compass. 500+ murders in Chicago the year. 2. Lack of true psychiatric care for the psycologically impared in this country. The people that we allow to roam the streets these days is shocking and dangerous. The mother in Newtown was unable to control her son. As to why shy allowed him acess to the weapons, that is between her and her God. 3. The second amendment was written to protect us from a oppresive government and to allow for self protection. What is the first thing a tyrant, such as Hitler does when he comes into power? Make surrender of all weaponary cumpulsory or death. The framers crafted the second ammendment to protect us from a rougue government. So by that logic we are required to carry a weapon. I have trained my children and wife to handle weapons properly and feel confident that they all will be safe.

There is not compromise. This is not a game. Its a all or none proposition. Its not the gun, the size of thr clip, the type of ammo. Its the nuts this new direction in society is creating. All these backwards ideologies need to be corrected Not the guns taken away

I'm glad you feel safer and are confident in your abilities to train your wife and children to handle weapons properly. We all have to take your word for it. Lucky for you there are no standardized tests or regulations to see just exactly how well you know how to use your weapons. We should be the safest country on earth with all our guns. Why aren't we?

I'm pretty damn safe, I must say. I wish I could be safer by having a carry pistol on me at all times. The Constitution doesn't say you can have some free speech, does it? The right to self defense is inalienable. That means, a right according to natural law, a right that cannot be taken away, denied, or transferred. Yet we have politicians with ARMED details to protect them, telling me I can't legally proect myself. WTH?
