Deer Hunters Invited to Use State Police Shooting Ranges

Illinois State Police District 5, 16648 S. Broadway/Route 53, Joliet, and state police offices elsewhere will open their shooting ranges to deer hunters from 8 to 4 p.m. Nov. 16 so they can check their sights and test-fire their shotguns in a safe environment in advance of deer hunting season.

Well I'm glad to see that they are doing that so people can check there firearms, but from what I understand their is also a part of deer season when people can hunt them with a handgun. So the question is are they going to allow the handgun hunters the same thing?
And not why?

There is also people who use muzzle loaders and from what I understand its at the same time as the handgun deer season. How about opening up the range for them as well.
