Would you know if it is Slovakian? I have not had a good Slovakian Potica in years. With the holidays coming, it brings back alot of memories. Thanks for the info!!

Not sure about that but it is mostly the authentic
"polish" foods .but you can always call them .They have 2 locations in Lemont. The bigger location is on Walker rd and they have a smaller deli in town. The Bakery section has everything.

Celina's is actually on the corner of McCarthy and Derby (near archer/171/83)

They are a primarily Polish deli with the most delicious food around! their website is www.celinasfreshmarket.com try calling to see if that have potica. if not, i highly recommend going in there and buying some of their food.

There is a lady that sells it year round that lives on Stryker Ave. in Joliet. She has a sign in her front yard with a phone number. Her place is just north of McDonough on Stryker. The house is also 2 blocks south of Jefferson St.
It is excellent!

I heard that Milano Bakery in Joliet has Potica. Check their hours as they open early and close early. I may hit that place as well and pick one up.

Man did you bring back some of my memories. My Grandma was a Slovak and I can remember her making Potica for everyone in the family. It was so good. I haven't had one like it since.
