I would just like if you douchebags would tell us whether or not you live in New Lenox. I've seen your names on other forums. Yet you keep skirting my question.

Does it make a difference? I do not believe it is against the rules to participate on a forum where you do not live and it certainly is a whole lot less damaging than all the profanity, vulgarity and name calling coming out of the Hoffman Estates ISP. One would think you would be more concerned about that.

Yeah. I live in Hoffman estates. You are just a reject. I love you losers who look up the ISP and think it means anything. I just wonder why someone who doesn't have any interest in new Lenox posts so much on the new Lenox forum. Maybe cause the people in their towns dislike them? Clueless losers.

I understand ISP's just fine. Naming Hoffman Estates was just the easiest way to identify someone like you who posts under many different names.

There are probably lots of reasons why someone posts on a forum that is different than where they live. Maybe they lived there once and still consider it home. Maybe they find the topics discussed more interesting than the ones discussed in their own town. Not all of the topics are locally related. Subjects like the presidential election, illegal immigration, the Zimmerman trial, concealed carry, law reform and most of the other discussions extend passed the boundaries of NL.

I do not believe that posting on other forums is deceptive at all. Now, using multiple names, pretending to be another poster and the recent explosion of vulgarity and profanity and name calling.....that is worth complaining about.

Good call, I think you are correct. tough economy. New Lenox tough place to do business. Not very much population. If you have a location on rt. 30 or laraway not very much population to the north or west of new lenox. Once you past primetime you have to go all the way to lagrange for population. A very far draw. Not to mention you have the VFW and the legion having there fish fry's and all you can eat sundays at 7.95 a person with there dollar beers and 3 dollar you call its. Paying no sales tax, property tax and getting people to volunteer to cook and serve, when all the other buisness have to pay people for there services. But have a benefit for someone that is ill, and demand donations from buisnesses and having that benefit and the vfw or legion. Whatever New Lenox is a little 2 horse town with a big shauamberg attitude.

Get your facts right here. The VFW and Legion DO pay sales tax and property tax.

The forever construction on Rt. 30 has not helped matters either. Charleston's is in an out of the way location.

every democratic run state is broke and the citizens are taxed up the rear. Republican run states are doing great! Much lower taxes! You would think people would notice that when they vote?
Actually, the states with the highest poverty levels are nearly all republican. Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Texas, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Tennessee, among others. You are entitled to your own opinion but not your own facts.

Unfortunately the demographics of the New Lenox area are such that an expensive or even moderately expensive restaurant would not succeed. Many of the homeowners are underwater in their mortgages and their priority is keeping a roof over their heads, not fine dining. The same can be said for Orland Park. Johnny's Char House recently closed up shop as well. The real money is in the western suburbs and these folks don't seem to be affected by the current economic siuation as those that reside in the south and southwest suburbs.

Let's get real folks. CH was in a prime location. If someone really wanted to get there they could even in most congested construction. Their quality dropped and dropped while prices stayed the same. That's why I stopped going, the construction didn't stop me from goin to Gattos
