One boy is dead, two other people hurt. Two families changed forever. It's so easy for people to make judgements on what happened; who was driving, who was to blame, etc., yet were you there? However, for those of you who made horrible comments based on heresay, please remember that there will come a day when someone you love makes a poor decision and gets hurt or even killed. Will you be happy to receive the same kind of comments you dished out? I think not. Please remember: A mother has lost her son, another mother has broken children whose lives will never be the same. Show some compassion. ALL OF US, NO ACCEPTIONS, HAVE MADE POOR DECISIONS IN OUR LIFETIMES yet were were lucky enough that we weren't hurt, nor did we hurt anyone else. Our decisons too could have had horrific consequences but for the grace of God. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
I agree that anyone can I mistake. However, Stan should have left this family alone after Mikeys death. He only knew Danielle for days before the accident and then after the accident when she finally can home he was always at her house, this was Mikeys house, his friends wanted to grief with his family not the driver of the car that killed him. He caused alot pain just being around , I think he just wanted to stay close to make sure he always knew what was going on with the investigation. He caused her to forget that her stepfather was always there for her and Keegan through everything. He should have left the Yakima family & friends alone to grief not be a lifelong reminder of what happened by marrying danielle and now having a baby together. Just more heartache in the future that could have been avoided.

Whatever became of all this? I worked with Stan. He was ultimately fired from the railroad but I wondered if he was still in jail? Tragic doesn't cover what all of this is for everybody that's involved. I was just curious.
