You know of course that his lemmings and the main stream media will never say anything negative against the hater of this country.

Such a disgrace.

So destructive.

Sorry, but 100% GOP obstruction might have something to do with it.

Oh and wasn't the premise of all those huge "tax breaks" due to those wealthy being the big "job creators"?? So, where are all those jobs?

Please take proud ownership of the fact that meddiocre job growth coupled with people giving up looking for employment and underemployed have given us the false unemployment percentage we enjoy.

What a sad joke on the American people, but probably one they deserve after all they elected Obama twice.

Congratulations.

Dump Obama care and companies will start ti hire FULL time employees again . This is a major reason there is minimal job growth The cost to small business is huge. They simply can't afford it.

Maybe it wouldn't of been an issue in the first place had the oh-so-powerful insurance companies keep us from having Universal HealthCare. I'm pissed that he originally touted Universal Healthcare on his platform and then slunk away with his tail between his legs after he got voted in because the greedy, immeasurably powerful insurance industry said "no". However, you want to blame somebody......BLAME the GREEDY Insurance Companies, who are ultimately running the whole show.

do you really think health care would be better run by the Government?

look at countries that have it.
sounds great till you are waiting to see a doctor or put on a waiting list for a procedure.

As opposed to how great it all is now, being all sick-for-profit? Medical costs are disgustingly staggeringly over-the-top and have bankrupted MILLIONS! And for what? Mediocre, inept care and misdiagnosis? I can cite at least a good 10 instances with my own friends and family alone where there was TOTAL neglect from doctors and/or hospitals concerning medical care. ALL BECAUSE INSURANCE COMPANIES ARE HOLDING ALL THE CARDS AND HAVE ALL THE CONTROL!!

Yeah, healthcare is SO great that right now....dudes like Stephen Hemsley, the CEO of UnitedHealth, who's total compensation of $101.96 million last year made him the highest paid corporate executive in the United States of America, can CONTINUE to earn that buck over denying medical coverage to those who need it most? To those who paid their premiums their whole life only to discover that when they actually need to use it, asswipes like this say "Oh, sorry, no!"?? The way it is right now, MEN LIKE THAT are ultimately the ones who determine whether you live or die and they are making HUGE profits off of it. Our Government would be forced to be held accountable FOR THE PEOPLE, not compensations in the hundred-millions.

So yes, we WOULD be MUCH better off with an entity that does not make ANY profit running the show. Also, people that I've spoken with that live in countries with universal healthcare have nothing but POSITIVE things to say about it, AS DO THE DOCTORS of said countries!! Unless you've experienced it for yourself, or have spoken with people that have used it, you cannot possibly believe the BS-propaganda spewn forth by insurance companies, their lobbyists and certain politicians that are in their back pockets! OF COURSE they will scream that it's lousy from the rooftops as they stand to lose all their profits FROM ILLNESS and CONTROL.

if you think socialized medicine is so great move to Canada.

When the Government runs the healthcare,
it will cost you move and you will have less.

but if you want to believe that more Government is the answer, and it will be a utopian experience
having the Government give you any and all the healthcare you want or need, go ahead, one day the truth will be waiting for you.

Obama already gave speeches where he stated that there will be rationing of healthcare under the ACA

and besides, this thread is about unemployment not health care.

Moving to Canada is a good option. Funny how Canada was the last industrialized countries to enter the the Great Recession, largely due to reductions in trade with nations that were already suffering. And they were one of the first to recover (though, like the rest of us, their economy remains fragile). The Canadian dollar is still stronger than the U.S. dollar and has been since 2010. They didn't have as hard a time because of banking regulations and less consumer debt.

As far as their healthcare system, according to the World Health Organization, Canada routinely ranks higher than the United States.

Seems to me the only ones who bad-mouth Canada are misinformed Americans.

And before you say, "Why don't you move there if you love it so much," I can tell you that I'm already making plans.

Good day, eh?

I fail to understand why the masses assume current economic conditions are caused by one man in a short amount of time. Sure, Barry is in over his head but let's start with the creation of the Federal Reserve, the removal of the US on the gold standard and the slow destruction of Glass- Steagall. We are where we are economically because the populace fell into the same trap with Bread & Circuses as every other empire has fallen into. Look how many people actually vote on Election Day let alone are informed voters. As long as the electricity turns on, their smart phones work, their sports teams play and they can vote for their favorite American Idol the people at large will care but won't lift a finger to effect change in the economy.

I would agree with your comment on "informed voters", very few.

But, Obama and his minions and their policies are currently driving this once great nation into the ground at supersonic speed.

Sorry, he is the man responsible for our current rate of destruction. He had many options and he chose the ones that will accelerate the death of this once great nation.

It's true Barry is fanning the flames but he didn't start the fire. Obama is not responsible for full employment and trade surplus in 1970 to this crap of a fake economy we have now. I'll give you he's driving it in the ground at an accelerated rate but he was handed the keys. This all started very long ago. Voting him out tomorrow won't bring full employment and a trade surplus back the day after either. We've got big problems that I don't see being solved without pitchforks and torches

Maybe not a complete answer, but at least it would stop the supersonic decline he is bent on.

I do believe that he does not like this country and will not be happy until his "fundamentally changed" country is here.

God help us all then.

He is a destroyer, not a conciliatory person. An extreme idealogue and a divider not paralleled in the history of this nation.

But, the "people" or "sheeple" elected this mistake twice, so now enjoy the fruits of this destrutive, devicive leader.

I know, it easy to blame everyone before him, but please, this guy is the ultimate destroyer of what made this nation great.

I'm sure you do not agree, but it is what it is.

Keep printing that money and buying those bonds to prop up this mess of an economy where the real unemployment rate is much larger than advertised by the messiah.

God help us all when this massive spending catches up with us in the form of runaway inflation, and you know it will.

Okay you hit on it. Whose printing the money? Who is buying bonds? Who is propping up the market? Not Barak but the Federal Reserve whom not only is a private for profit corporation but I believe an unconstitutional body. Nobody talks about that. Ron Paul has called for a Fed audit. The TARP money was paid to anonymous sources. The Citizens United SCOTUS case cemented the power shift to the haves. Keep blaming Obama but we have way bigger infrastructure problems. We can vote you in and guess what... Still legacy infrastructure problems. I get that Barak blows but please, if your pointing fingers start pointing all around. Your federal elected officials no better than Obama. And while your at it you can curse Geeenspan and Bernanke please. Maybe I'm way off the mark and I apologize but your insistence that Barak is the sole reason the economy and country is dead is very one dimensional.

And you don't think Obama loves all this money printing and bond buying,

And you don't think his administration has no influence in what the Fed does?

Please, lets be real.

Let me guess, we need to raise taxes to take care of the "legacy" infrastructure problems right?

I for one have no intention of giving this government one more dime of my tax dollars to piss away on social programs and waste time work.

Recall the 850 billion dollar stimulus that was supposed to take care of 'shovel ready' infrastructure projects? What a joke. No more government programs please.

Obamacare for example, what a scam, a waste and a joke.

Yea, we need more programs like that.

Carry on with your delight in government. I do not want any part of it. And big government is all B.H. Obama is all about. What a mess it is.

Thank you.

Nope. Obama has no say in the Feds actions. That's my point. The Fed hides behind the 'non politicalization' of the Fed. Obama can wish all he wants but in the end , the Fed which is a private corporation owned by member banks , and does what it wishes.

I think you've confused me with someone else. I have no delight in our current government in any fashion from the way it runs and operates to the way it taxes. I'm the one calling for a revolution as in take to the streets with pitchforks and torches remember ?

Please take the time to watch this , it's quite informative :

Disband the Fed, put term limits on congress , repeal Dodd-Frank ,re-establish Glass -Steagall, repeal Citizens United, eliminate the IRS and bloated departments like Education , HUD , amongst others-- that's a VERY SMALL start. Put whomever you want in the White House but unless the 'legacy infrastructure ' is fixed it won't matter. The system is BROKE. Your solution of JUST getting rid of Obama , albeit a correct statement, isn't even a drop in the bucket to what really needs to happen.

You guessed wrong about me. In fact my solutions could be construed as seditious subject to being called a domestic terrorist. So please keep the candy ass 'you want to tax away problems' assumptions for someone else. Thanks

Unemployment in Illinois is the worst in the Midwest 9.7 not to mention those that quit looking and left the formerly great state of Illinois. Nationwide its in the top 5..... No worries we will add another 340,000 to the medicaid roles with no funding stream except "Oh the federal government will pay it for the first 2 years??? " Get some real leadership back in this state soon or Investors will NEVER RETURN ! Taxes are Ridiculous, costs of doing business? Ditto. And so on and so on and so on....Oh and we have had a good run of corruption too ! Makes me want to run over to Illinois and sink millions into a business.
What a joke !

FINALLY, a voice of REASON! What you state here are all REAL solutions to our problems and if made possible, would do a world of good.

Of COURSE "huh" guessed wrong about you! "huh" guesses wrong about everyone here that don't agree with his narrow-minded, one-track views. "huh" shows his level of intellect by claiming that getting rid of the current president will fix all while producing sunshine sprinkles and rainbow-farting unicorns. "huh" IS the "uninformed voter".
