Do you people see the state of people who adore McMichael. Making comparisons as to the integrity of a person by car driven and good looking wife. People this is what you'll see and hear for 4 years if Mongo wins election. I can just see the Board meetings......it'll be like WWF show night. Maybe this will be made into a reality show.....wouldn't that be something to be proud of.....everyone across the Country tuning it every week to see what old Steve is up to ! People , we ( Romeoville ) is on the verge of being a joke to not only this area but possibly across the country if McMichael wins this election. Let's all keep Romeoville a great place to live by voting for John Noak !
Don't take the comments regarding hot women and cars so personally.
If you are happy driving your boring average car then fine. Your wife isn't very good looking that's fine too. Remember. She's got a lot of miles, makes decent lasagna and has been put away wet more times than not. But she actually has a job and makes more money than you ever have and you believe she loves you.
The problem with the joke of a mayor is he is only focused on the Romeoville along Weber road and has forgotten the rest of Romeoville and the longtime residents. He draws lines that divide and a divided community is always going to have problems because of those lines.

To the intelligent people of Romeoville .....do you want 4 years of highschool antics ? Do you want people who don't take anything seriously , than your vote is for McMichael. If on the other hand you want a Village to prosper , than vote for Noak.

Let me hear you justify why McMichael chose to deny at least 2 chances to debate. You talk as if he's going to do 'great' things for Romeoville, yet he doesn't have the courage to talk about it publicly against his opponent. If he's so opposed to the job Noak has done, and truly believes he can do better...then his a$$ should have taken his confidence and got up there and debated. End of story. The fact that he didn't is enough reason for EVERY Romeoville resident to NOT vote for him.

I don't believe that Noak = prosperity. He might be a better option than McMichael but he has plenty of his own flaws. You can follow the money to find them.

And I find it interesting that so many people talk out of both sides of their mouth on here. Some people say Noak is great, look at all the jobs he's created, but when someone questions all the vacant commercial properties, then you say that Noak has no control over the economy and business. You can't have it both ways.

And that is just one of many examples. Get consistent or just admit you believe whatever Noak has to tell you.

I believe that keeping Noak is office will guarantee that 2 things occur. These 2 things have been going on and will continue if not put in check.

The first thing that will continue under Noak leadership will be pushing for more even more development and building up the Weber Road corridor. This takes considerable money and resources to do.

The second thing that will continue to happen under Noak's "leadership" is the ignoring of the rest of Romeoville. The area away from the Weber Road corridor and the newer houses near there. The rest of Romeoville will see no improvements around them.
Sure there may be much needed and overdue repairs or maintenance done but only because there is no alternative. The improvements will be focused on Weber Road corridor.

Bringing McMichael into office I believe will get a focus that includes the whole community.

Under Noak's "leadership" all the majority of resources and finances are directed towards Noak's pride and joy - the Weber Road corridor and its development.

The rest of Romeoville gets the leftovers.

Thanks Noak! He should save his hot air for a position he is more suited for - like blowing up balls at the park district.

Once again you show how much of an idiot you are. Romeoville's industrial vacancy is actually much lower than virtually everywhere around us. Many people mistake building that are actually in Bolingbrook or Woodridge as being in Romeoville. You just don't have any clue what your talking about.

Still just outright lieing to people. No facts. No proof. Just lies. Your candidate is losing and you are just desperate.

Here's a novel idea....Weber road is where retail and businesses want to be.....develops that and build a tax base and get those dollars to help build in parts of Romeoville which most retail and business don't want to be first or alone if no one else builds.Maybe build a Community Center to try to get more people interested in that part of Village......oh wait doing that already. Maybe if some of you people could plan longer out than tomorrow you'd see that building on Weber road is the best option to get the funds needed to build in areas were retail and business are not yet interested . Yes things are needed in the "downtown " area but you need funding and interest. Looks like our Mayor is working on the biggest task in getting tax dollars to help build or rebuild Romeoville. Come on people drop the Weber road verses "downtown" issue.... "downtown" happens first with Community Center to draw attention then to get funding to rebuild. Those tax dollars from Weber Road will likely come in handy in making all of Romeoville a great place to live and work. Vote Noak for Mayor !

You just proved my point. Noak has little if anything to do with any of the job creation or business development in the community.

Now how are you going to spin that?

Can someone help me.....I fail to see a point here ? But then again I'm not a Mongo fan. What is it you think McMichael can do about jobs ? Use his celebrity status ( I fail to see that point too ) to get businesses to come here and create jobs. Why in the world if I'm in charge of company that needs to relocate or start up in an area would I even consider a fading star who is a Mayor a reason to spend my dollars to build ? Most companies look at many things before taking up residence anywhere. Some is concern as to getting employees to job site, infrastructure like restaurants, service type industries like banks and cleaners maybe even retail .If a retail business is looking here it's based purely on revenues dollars. To think we would get anything just because we have Steve McMichael is a real stretch ! But if we continue bringing in business and retail , as John Noak , has been a part of in these last 4 years......yes jobs will come too ! Vote Noak if you want Romeoville to keep getting better !

Please tell what monies have been gathered from the Weber developments that have went towards improving the other side of town (exclude a community center)

I agree with a previous post that Noak is drawing lines. Sadly, if something isn't done about these lines they will eventually never be able to be erased.

If that's true.....and I question that.....what does Jesse White have to do with Romeoville. I'm pretty sure he doesn't live here . Now if Jesse Jackson Jr. or Sr. called , I might be impressed ! But , still outsiders who have no interest in Romeoville and what happens if McMichael wins election.....can everyone say train wreck !

Tax dollars benefit all of Romeoville....pays bills , pays for planning , it helps to pay for street improvement , community programs , parks and much more. Do actual dollars from these taxes go to various parts of the Village ....yes they do. If you look around the things done with those tax dollars make the entire Village more attractive to any business and to people who wish to move to a community that is better than where they live now.....many people upgrade with moves for what a community has to offer not because they have to live there. Let's keep Romeoville moving forward , vote for Noak.

I would expect a side step answer from Noak but you didn't answer the question.

How have any of the increased tax dollars generated from the Weber Rd development contributed to the betterment of the rest of town?

You know what , your right......all the tax money goes to no one . It'just out there no one uses it. You can't admit that there would be a way to find out specifics but you're too lazy to ask the Village for it. You're just like McMichael ( actually , I believe you might be ) just talk , don't do any research and say " it 's all wrong" and why is that , it's because you don't directly benefit from the use of those tax dollars. But the people of Romeoville all benefit if those tax dollars are used to make the Village more attractive to people and business to want to move here......this increases the entire tax base and everything gets better in Romeoville. No one is going to change your mind so go ahead vote for failure , vote to move Roneoville back into the 1960's vote Mongo.....not me I can't even imagine what those 4years of a train wreck will do to our Village. I moved here by choice , I'd hate to think now it was a mistake !
