Sounds like it could be a cool theme. If you can't make a burger place last something is wrong. Reason businesses don't last is because there are no supporting businesses. Generally a restaurant wont do well when there is no nearby shopping etc. As much as I like our little dollar store for "stocking stuffers" for the kids, it don't offer much in the lines of daily living supplies etc. Unfortunately, in a town where the ONLY businesses are eating establishments, opening a new one is not very business smart. There is enough population here in Manhattan to support at least a Dollar General store. Would save a LOT of trips to Walmart in New Lenox, and would be an asset to the economy.

Mickey D's offers a decent double burger for a dollar. That could be hard to compete with. Hope they sell beer with that burger n fries.

It's a family of guys making hand-made burgers. I heard they will be open in middle-may. They should bring more people to the downtown area, which is good for the other places also. There is no reason they shouldn't be good if grilled burgers are their specialty. Welcome to the area!

Super funny. But I would need to see all three in hairnets and plastic gloves before I buy what they handle. As if the purity of the taxes I paid wasn't polluted by them.

they are opening later this month its perfect for manhattan which doesnt have a decent burger place so its better than having yet another pizza place open up

I want a good Pizza Burger actually, or a decent three cheese, cheese burger. Those are the best.

Just popped in to taste. Mark the owner is a 27 year international chef. Culinary degrees from Ireland and in Boston graduated top of his class of 3,500. Special proprietary blend of beef round, beef chuck and pork rib meat. All produce locally hydroponically grown in green house in Wilton Center and sourced meats from Wittingham Meats http://www.rwhittinghammeats.com/
Kirby bakery supplies fresh breads daily. No freezer or microwave. Everything is fresh. Import a domestic beers in cans. Pickles his own. Cut fries, fresh slaw. Beer battered rings. May be twice the price of Mc Donald's. But 10X's better. Opens Tuesday the 18th. Grand opening the 19th with 2 bands in the back lot. Burger was very tasty.

Why don't you just come out and say you are Mark? Who just strolls into an establishment that isn't open yet , "just for a taste"? It's ok to say, Hi I'm Mark, the owner ......please give my establishment a try....
