On April 9th Romeoville Mayor election the right choice couldn't be more clear:

Noak: Quadruple our bond debt from $41 million prior to taking the office to nearly $180 million in 2012.
Steve McMichael: Fiscally conservative, committed to reducing our debt by complete overhaul of village spending.
Noak: Under his watch foreclosures, short sales and Romeoville residents unemployment is worse than it has been in decades.
Steve McMichael: An active, aggressive partnership with the banks and lending institutions to slow foreclosures and stymie short sales. An agreement with any new business to employed qualified village residents first.
Noak: Wasting taxpayer resources by building new Athletic and Event Center in downtown Romeoville with total estimated cost for entire project upwards of $20 million while experts estimate this Athletic and Events Center will lose annually $875,000.
Steve McMichael: Committed to historic Route 66 redevelopment. His first priority will be a grocery store because that's what residents want.
Noak: Previously lobbied for and is ready to approve after re-election, Romeoville quarry expansion; jeopardizing the health and safety of all kids attending Romeoville high school and nearby residence.
Steve McMichael: No Quarry Expansion!

There is only one choice, the right choice: on April 9 Vote:
Steve McMichael for Mayor of Romeoville

By your words above I noe know you are that crazy dude who stands up at the Village meetings and babbles. You haven't got the nerve to use your own name...Mr. T ! All things in your comment about contradict comments made by you and Team Mongo in past discussions in this forum. People go back through other discussions of someone for McMichael and see where this comment has increase what is said to be proposed lose at community city.. again using a draft not a final true document. As for debt of Romeoville.. it's growing , does infrastructure , services and plans for future not cost something ? Do you really believe no one is working on a Grocery store ? It takes time to get someone first interested then to show it would be profitable to build. Then plans , permits, financing, etc add more time to project. It appears that McMichael will have Romeoville build the store and what then rent it out.....be serious ! I appreciate that you believe in McMichael but I'm hoping you are the only one !

Mongo is a washed up has-been. No celebrity status. He has no celebrity friends to bring in money to our village. He can’t even bring in money for his own “FUNDRAISER” He lost money. This is the guy you want to run our town? Please!

why would he have ANYTHING to do with a Grocery store as mayor ? Does he own a chain of them? The Chains make the decision where they want to invest millions of dollars not the mayor. Its this little thing called Profit margin They are in the business to make money not make sure you dont have to drive what 3-4 miles to get grocery service. As side note you can order on line just about any food from a grocery store for very little difference in cost

None of this is even remotely true. Mongo is looking more and more like the classic politician with his negative campaigning and lies.

As has been said by me and others. Team Mongo is at it's worst in these discussions. You post incorrect documents that were a draft using different criteria then what was actually used to pass the build of the center. You say everything good in Romeoville is a waste of money. Well maybe you never spend against your future or even spend for now..... look around at some of the houses or commercial buildings that people don't spend money to fix or improve and then ask " why isn't worth what it should be " ? Be real Romeoville has had great growth and a new infrastructure is not cheap....oh it could if people like you get in power. Infrastructure is the new police station , the new Village Hall, new Athletic Center, the upgrade of streets , the increase of manpower....I could go on , but I don't believe you'd admit that this has valitiy . Go ahead vote for McMichael if you want to see the Village move back into the 1960's. Vote Noak if you want to be in this century !

they are referring to an early..not approved study from gruen and gruen associates and many other studies were done affter that with an outside vendor managinng it. The gruen report was done to see what it costs if the village runs it and from wwhat i understand it was removed / stolen from village hall...

If this is "draft" than please can you enlighten all of us and post final report with all future estimates for AEC. "DRAFT" on pages of this report is there for specific reason. Ask John or Steve they can tell you why.

I don't have final report but if you went to City Hall you could ask how you can look at everything connected to the public meeting where all these documents were presented. Do you really believe this crap that Team Mongo is placing here ? Do you really think that a document dated in August 2012 was used in the passing of this Center a few weeks ago. That would be bad managing using a document with different criteria ( original question was if the Village ran Center ) and a report from 6 months ago....to pass a deal . What do you think this us "WaterGate " ? Be real..... outside company to run center . These Mongo posts are pure crap

. Is that all you got ? You are really hanging on a thread. Did you read the report from the consulting firm ? The draft version ,,,, seriously . I applaud the village for taking another look after the draft was presented and finding a alternative to accomplish it. Its the deadbeats of this town that keep bringing us back to where we were years ago.

Yes, you are partially correct. John had every intentions to run it however once he and Steve seen this report decision was made not to take a chance and let someone else potentially fail. Yes they will fail. Believe me, I am all for progress and moving forward, especially on the east side but let build something that will make financial sense, AEC won't do that. WaterGate? no I like "GuldenGate" better :)
